"Yui! Wake up! Yuiiii!" Erika said. "You're going to be late for school, Yui!" I opened my eyes to the sound of someone yelling at me and shaking me awake. "Erika-san? What time is it?" I asked her confused about what time it was and why she was waking me up with such urgency. "Well, it's 7:40am right now and school starts at 8:00am so good luck! I have to get going now if I want to make it so I'll see you later Yui-chan!" Erika said with a smile on her face and she ran out the room and slammed the door.
What time did she say... 7:40? School starts at 8:00....? I looked at the clock that I had on my nightstand [7:44am]? School starts at 8:00? It's 7:44? It me a while to comprehend what was happening as my eyes were still adjusting to the morning sunlight.
"SHIIIIITTTTT!!!! I'M GONNA BE LATE!" I yelled as I quickly got up and threw on my uniform and ran out the door. Why didn't my alarm wake me up?! I quickly check my phone to see why the alarm didn't go off. The only thing I find is that I completely forgot to set an alarm... My face grew pale.... So it was my fault huh?! "Yui, you stupid girl!" I say while running towards school not even having put my jacket on completely.
[7:58am] I finally made it to the front school door. "Huff...huff....huff... Why is the school so far away from the dorms?!" I say to myself while checking my phone to see the time [7:59am]. "Crap!" I gather the rest of my energy to just make it to class on time, exactly when the bell rang at 8:00am I opened the door to the classroom, "I'm sorry I'm late!" I say while bowing to the sensei and quickly make my way to my seat. "It's fine you made it just on time Kaito-chan" sensei replied.
As I walked towards my seat I turned my head towards Yamato's direction to see what he was doing and my dissapointment the only thing that Yamato was doing was giggling at my almost lateness and my gross bedhair.
"This couldn't be worse" I say whispering to myself and look out the window.
Either way what was that... The thing that happened yesterday when I was angry at Yamato and that big shocked happened between me and him. That was so weird, I didn't feel any of the shock but seeing how Yamato reacted and the pained look on his face it definitely hurt him. I'll have to ask Sosuke about it. Either way didn't we come to this academy for a whole other purpose? The purpose of gaining new power and protecting the people we love? This is something we failed to do when Sensei was still here... I turned over to look at Yamato, the only thing I saw was the back of Yamato's head as he payed attention the teacher. Yamato? What are you thinking? Do you also want to continue this path with me? Are you just doing this because I'm doing it and you feel obligated to protect me? What is this feeling? This feeling I'm feeling? I feel irritated with myself and the world. I will definitely ask Sosuke about this after school if I'm able to find him.
LUNCH TIME
Just a few seconds before the bell rang I got up and headed towards the door. By the time the bell rang I was basically already out the door and heading towards the lunch room. I don't know why but for some reason I just want to avoid everyone. I hold my head up straight and instead of making the turn to go to the lunch room I make the turn to head towards the stairs and go look for Sosuke.
YAMATO'S POV
I turned around to head towards Yui and ask her to have lunch with me. Only, when I turned around there was no one there and I turned towards the door to see that it was already open and everyone else was still in the classroom. 'How did she leave that fast?' I run towards the door and head towards the lunch room to look for her. I wonder where she went? Did she want to beat the lines or something? I pass the hall to the stair way only to see Yui's hair as she turned the corner and headed down stairs. 'Ahh... There she is! Where is she going?' As I'm about to make the turn to follow her I'm stopped by a couple of girl classmates. "Hey Sasaki-kun! Would you like to come have lunch with us? We thought maybe you didn't have anyone to eat lunch with since you just came here." The leader of the 'pack' said to me. "I'm sorry but, I have better things to do." I say calmly and coldly as I run after Yui down the stairs.
"Sasaki-kun YOU BAKA!!" The girl says as she walks quickly with an attitude towards the lunch room.
Like I care what you think... Hmph, the only thing I care about right now is finding out what the heck Yui is up to and where she's going.
Just as I turn the corner, In the corner of my eye I see Yui in the corner looking at me like she heard everything and was waiting for me.
"Wasn't that a bit mean, Yamato?" She said while giggling.
I start to laugh as well, "It was, wasn't it? Haha, I didn't mean to come off that way but I was irritated and in a hurry..." I replied with a smile on my face and covering my eyes with my hands.
"Hmmm, in a hurry for what?" Yui asks.
"In a hurry to find you, where did you run off to?" I ask as I see Yui blush. 'She's she cute' I smile.
"Well, I was thinking during class how you and I are here for a greater purpose. So, I thought why not go off and find Sosuke so I can ask him about it and everything," Yui responds.
I nod my head, "This is true........... Well! Let's go find him then!" I say while heading towards the door.
"Mmmm, Lets!" Yui says as she follows.
