The Ineffable Son

Chapter 3

(In this book I will have Armageddon happen in 81 instead of the 90s like it is set in the book. So basically while the wizarding world was dealing with Voldemort. Crowley and Zira were dealing with Armageddon.Also Hadrian will seem a little more mature for his age. I wrote him like this because I believe he would have to grow up faster to deal with what the Dursley's do to him.)

The next morning approaches quickly as the two divine beings move around the bookshop.
"Are you sure you have the list Crowley." Aziraphale asks for what seems like the hundredth time.

"Yes Angel. I have it. I'm going to go get what he needs while you call Anathema. She'll be able to tell us how to get the wizards world."
Crowley says as he rolls his eyes at the Angel's worrying but he still reassures him. After a few more minutes Crowley is on his way to the store while Aziraphale goes to his phone. It's still early in the morning so Hadrian is still sleeping. This could also be because Aziraphale put a calmness in the air to help Hadrian sleep.

'I still can't believe how some humans treat their children' Azriphale thinks to himself as he puts in Anathema's number. The phone rings a few times before it's picked up.

"Hello Anathema speaking."

"Ahh Anathema dear its Aziraphale."

"Oh hello Aziraphale. How can I help you."

"Well my dear. Crowley and I need some information."

"Information on what."

"On how to get to the wizarding world in London." A few moments of silence is heard from the other side of the line. Before a small rustle is heard.

"Ahh why do you need this information."

"Well you see Crowley and I have basically adopted a magical child."

"Ah how did you two manage that." She says as she puts a hand on her hip (even though Zira can't see it)

"Well Crowley was on his way to meet me when there was a family shoving their way through and they happened to shove Crowley. And once the family was a distance a way Crowley hissed something at them and then he sensed someone looking at him and he noticed a child. This child was able to understand what Crowley hissed and then child hurried after the family. Crowley also took note of how small and skittish the child was."

"And how did this lead up to you two ending up with a child."

"Well Crowley quickly came and got me then we were off to the park. We observed from a distance. The family was happily buying ice creams while the child sat on a bench humming to himself and watching the ducks. There was a second child with the family and he took notice that the other child was sitting at the bench. He came over and shoved him off the bench then proceeded to drop his ice cream and go running to the parents blaming it on the other. The mother went to buy another ice cream while the father stormed over to the child. He threatened him with locking him in a cupboard and then tried to strike him. Crowley quickly got the man away and i checked on the child."

"So you and Crowley saw a child being abused and saved him."

"Yes." Anathema pinches the bridge of her nose she processes everything.

"And let me guess you need to know how to get to the wizarding world.

"Yes again my dear."

"Okay well you will need to go the Leaky Cauldron. It will look like a run down pub to the human eye,but you and Crowley should be able to see it. You will have to ask for Tom and he will lead you to the back of the shop. You may want to write this next part down."
Aziraphale sets the phone down and grabs a piece of paper and a pencil. Once it gets them he picks the phone back up.
