The Ineffable Son

Chapter 22

Hisses fill the shop Hadrian hides behind Crowley. He hates when he becomes the center of attention.

"How dare you grab my sssson like that." Crowley hisses as he gets in the mans face. As the crowd looks back and forth between them and Sirius and Mrs.Weasley.

"Listen to me Molly. You can't have Hadrian- His name is Hadrian now now.. Molly stop he is in a perfect home." Sirius says as he pinches the bridge of his nose.
Someone yells for the Aurors as Crowley punches Lockhart in the face knocking the man unconscious as he bears his fangs. Everyone around them takes a step back as Crowley pulls Hadrian into him. Crowley grips Hadrian tightly to him as he hisses at anyone to close. He already lost Aziraphale no one was gonna get his son. Remus and Narcissa both approach  the pair with their hands out.

"Crowley he's safe. Let's go I can get the rest of the children's things later." Narcissa says softly as Crowley looks at her his eyes completely snake like. Slowly Crowley starts smoking using the hot smoke as a defense mechanism keeping Hadrian hidden from the photographer who is trying to still get pictures. A small boom is heard as the camera explodes in the photographers hands. Everyone looks at Crowley who is now glaring at the cowering photographer.

"What do we do Remus the only one who can help isn't here." Narcissa whispers to Remus.

"I don't know. Sirius is keeping Molly away so it doesn't get worst but I do know that Molly's girl better stop trying to get closer before she gets burned." Remus says as he sees Ginny trying to slip closer. Ginny freezes when she hears Remus and quickly back tracks. Remus nods as he sees that she listened then he turns back to Crowley.

"Come on Crowley let's go back to Grimmauld Sirius and Lucius is taking care of everything else."
Hadrian gently tugs on Crowley's jacket.Crowley stops baring his fangs and looks down at Hadrian.

"Father I'm okay." Crowley continues to look down at Hadrian like they are having a silent conversation. A few more seconds go by before Crowley nods.
"I want her taken care of. SSShe sssshouldn't have grab my sssnakeling like that." Crowley says some of words still filled with hisses.
"Of course Sirius is taking care of i-" Before Remus can finish Lumi is launching herself off of Hadrian's shoulder and latching onto the hand the photographer had reaching for Hadrian. The photographer lets out a small yell as Lumi digs her fangs into his hand as Crowley hisses and pulls Hadrian closer to him. More chaos breaks out as Aurors enter the shop to try and diffuse the situation. A screaming Molly is drug out the shop with the rest of the Weasley's following. And then a pale photographer is next as he cradles the hand that Lumi bit. Said snake was back on Hadrian's shoulder with a satisfied look in her eyes. It gets worst when an Auror is trying to grab Hadrian as well.
"Oi you git let my godson go he has nothing to do with them." Sirius growls out as he starts to storm towards the Auror. Before Sirius can do anything the Auror is already being yanked off of Hadrian. Everyone stares in shock as they see Aziraphale standing in front of them holding the Auror by his robes.

His hair and clothes are slightly disheveled from his run as he pushes the Auror further away from Hadrian. He has his back to Crowley and Hadrian not ready to face them just yet. The Auror gets in Aziraphale's face yelling about how he shouldn't interfere with the ministry's affairs. Aziraphale lets out a small huff and brings his hand and snaps. The auror that was yelling in his face suddenly vanishes as the rest of the shop finally calms down. Without turning to the rest of the group he addresses Remus.

"Remus get them out if here. Crowley will need to calm down before lightning strikes from his anger." Remus nods and quickly apperates away with Crowley and Hadrian. Before they apperated away Hadrian stared at Aziraphale's back with a small smile and before they pop away he whispers one sentence.
"I knew you would come back to us Papa."
Aziraphale hears this whisper and he releases a shaky breath.
"Listen don't let Crowley leave the manor or Grimmauld place he will want to go after the one who harmed Hadrian. And above all don't let him come to the bookshop until he's ready. He will get drunk and try to go there knowing that is where I will be. There is a lot that I'm still trying to process and I also need to regain full control over my mind again." Aziraphale says as he finally turns to the rest of the small group. They all let out small gasps when they see the dull look on the angel's face.

"Please just look after them a little longer. I can't face them when my mind is still jumbled up." They all nod and Aziraphale sends them a small smile before disappearing to the bookshop.

"Mother I would like to go to Hadrian." Draco says he holds onto his mother's robes.

"Of course my little dragon. Remus brought them to the manor" Narcissa nods to Lucius and disappears with Draco to the Manor.
Lucius and Sirius finish getting the boys school supplies as the shop slowly calms down as two Aurors tend to the unconscious Lockhart. One thing is for sure that Peacock will not be getting away with this. The two males leave the shop with identical smirks as the begin to hatch a plan.

Hi everyone I am so sorry about this long wait. I moved in September and then I got a manager job. Its been a crazy three months unfortunately my next update won't be until the end if December or early January due to peak season at work. But i do hope you enjoy this small chapter until then
