10-year-old Faye played with some traps. She placed a penny on a toy train and then flicked it, making the train move and pushing a button. A trash can fell on the toy train.
"That's a good trap to catch whatever small thing's around the house," chuckled Faye.
Eunice did the laundry but yelped when something snapped her finger. She realized it was a pencil glued to a hair clip and grumbled.
"Faye!" yelled Eunice as Faye came along. "What's this about?"
"Sorry, Mom, I'm trying to catch whatever's taking our stuff," said Faye.
"Well, keep my hands out of it," grumbled Eunice.
"Have you two seen my watch?" asked Frank, scratching his head. "I left it on my counter yesterday, and now it's gone."
"Maybe you left it somewhere else, Dad," said Faye, shrugging her shoulders. "Besides, it was an old watch. You can always get a new one."
"Or small people stole it," said Eunice with a smile as Faye chuckled. "We have to go to the courthouse and discuss the will."
The Stein family walked out of the house and got into the car.
A little hook held onto the kitchen counter as Wanda climbed on the rope alongside her kids, Walden and Winnie. She helped Walden and Winnie up with her tiny paws. Walden was excited and wanted to go off, but Wanda stopped him.
"Walden Werewolf, what's the first rule of borrowing?" growled Wanda as Walden grumbled. "You know it."
"Sigh, look around and make sure there are no biggies," grumbled Walden, trying to walk off again. Wanda grabbed Walden by his arm. "What?"
"The other rules?"
"Make sure you have everything you need, and if a biggie comes, stay hidden at all times."
"There. That's my boy."
"Why do I have to come? I don't want to borrow!" whined Winnie, crossing her little arms. "I want to stay home and eat a marshmallow."
"All you do is stay home, squirt," said Walden as Winnie rolled her eyes. "What's the plan, Mum?"
"I'll get the battery and salt we need while you two find something for dessert in the freezer," explained Wanda, walking to a toaster. She used a lockpick to take the screws out, then took one of the batteries. "Now I have to get the salt."
Winnie and Walden climbed the fridge to the top.
"Winnie, you stay out here while I get food," said Walden, tying a rope around his waist and then to a popsicle stick. "Use the popsicle stick to keep the freezer open."
"All right, but don't go in there and eat ice cream," said Winnie, letting Walden enter the fridge. He looked around the fridge and saw chocolate ice cream. Walden took the lid off and stuffed ice cream in his mouth. "You're not eating ice cream, are ya?"
"No, I'm not!" lied Walden. He then put some ice cream in a bag and wiped his mouth. "Maybe I should take a look around."
Winnie struggled with the popsicle stick.
"Walden! You're going too far!" whimpered Winnie. The popsicle stick fell out of Winnie's paws. "WALDEN!"
Meanwhile...
"You can't stay in your house," said Ginger as Frank and Eunice gasped.
"But my aunt's will-" Ginger cut Frank off.
"There is no will, so I'll demolish your house and build my apartment complex," snickered Ginger, getting up and showing Frank and Eunice a model. "You're welcome to stay in my apartment complex once it's finished."
