Racing Enemies (lovers?) *Gyro x Reader*

A/n: here I am again... back after all this time. Alr I just thought I would work some more on my requests lol.

You increased your horse's speed a little, in order to get infront of these guys.

Johnny and Gyro were your racing enemies, you hated these guys. Especially Gyro, 'who does this guy think he is?' You used to question yourself whenever he passed you.

Looking at your left, his horse was one neck ahead of yours and you weren't going to let him win again.

The finishing line was just a few meters away from you and that was it for your horse.

"You can do it, Bella, you're strong, girl" You continued giving her hope and encouraging her.

Turns out that didn't do much as Gyro already finished first, with you just behind him.

A normal person would assume that second place wasn't that bad.

But first place is always better.

"Just admit that I'm better than you." Gyro said with a mischievous grin on his face.

"Can you do everyone a favor and shut the fuck up? I can smell your breath from here." You said and just walked ahead.

His friend Johnny had also finished.

"What's up with her?" He asked and Gyro just put his shoulders up.

"EVERYTHING'S UP WITH ME, ASSHOLE." You shouted and raised your middle finger.

Today another day came and you had to move ahead.

You fed Bella and gave her water. Then you got all your supplies and continued on the race with the others.

It was already night time and you decided to stay at a little village just a few meters ahead.

Entering the village, you saw the two familiar faces you never wanted to meet again.

"Following us, L/n? It seems that you love us, 'cause why ealse would you be following us?" Gyro said when he  noticed you.

"Oh, I know you ain't talking. Your name sounds like a fucking coughing syrup." You said and continued to look for a hotel in this place.

You finally found it and got off your horse.

It seemed that someone else had the same exact idea because the two traitors came in aswell.

You and Gyro went wayyyy back. Well... no way but more like at the start of this race.

You also had a stand, so you helped him and Johnny with collecting the corpse.

You and Gyro used to help eachother with everything and I mean everything.

From taking the risk for one another to helping eachother get first place.

It was either both of you or none of you.

Until one time, Gyro decided to be a total jackass and leave you behind. That day you came out on 8th place wich was really bad. You also lost your 3rd place on the leader board.

It didn't take long to make a come back, but you and Gyro weren't on the best terms after this.

'He should be the one to feel bad and appologise but instead he chose to be an asshole about it' you always thought.

But sometimes, you think that you were just overreacting and it wasn't that deep after all. But you weren't going to talk to him about it until he apologizes.

Johnny on the other hand, he didn't really do anything he just took Gyro's side even tho he was clearly on the wrong.

You decided to pay no mind to it and went straight to your room.

The room wasn't very big but not tiny. It was just perfect for a night here.

It had a bed, a bathroom and a little table that you could use to look at the map.

You just hoped nothing alive crawled in.

It was around 12 am and you were already dead asleep on the uncomfortable little bed of the hotel. No wonder why they were so cheap.

You woke up when you heard the door open.

It wasn't supposed to open like that at a time like this...

Just then... a fat man around his late forty's appeared out of nowhere.

"She has many things and she's also a beautiful one at that..." He said to himself while getting closer to you.

And then it hit you... it was a thieve and he was probably gonna rape you!

"What are you doi- Hey!" You said as he snached your wrists.

Your mind could only imagine what this man could do to you. He might even kill you!

But maybe killing you would be much better than raping you. What if you have to bare his child after. What if you have to bare the guilt of being raped for the rest of your life?

You were screaming, crying and trying to break free but nothing seemed to work for you. You even tried to kick his balls but he caught your leg.

"Let go you bastard!" You screamed while trying to move.

Before he could even unbackle his belt, a very familiar, green, steel ball got flung at him and he dropped to the ground unconscious.

"Did he hurt you?" The also familiar figure asked you.

Gyro must have heard your screams and came to see what's going on.

"A- a little. My wrists hurt from how tight he was holding them, they even made a mark." You said while showing him your hands.

He then took one of your hands and kissed it.

"I'm glad you're ok.... Look I'm sorry for the other time it was very stup-" He couldn't even finish his sentence before you smashed your lips against his.

The kiss was cut short by you hugging him and burying your face in his chest. He also hugged your waist.

"Thank you for saving me, Gyro." You said and started crying again, but this time it was happy tears.

He lifted your chin with two fingers and wiped your tears. He then kissed you again, this time a bit longer.

"Omg can yall stop with this love birds shit? We have a race tomorrow, come on, Gyro." Out of nowhere, Johnny said and got out of the room.

Gyro looked down at you and smiled giving you a little peck once again for the last time. "See you tomorrow?" He asked.

"See you tomorrow" You smiled and waved as he carried the man's body out of my room.

And just like that, you were a team once more, but this time not just friends.
