Once upon a time, in a small far away kingdom, there was a prince named Kokichi Ouma. Kokichi was a wide-eyed hopeful boy but rotten and rude towards those he saw as lower class. Believing that those who couldn't make a name for themselves were not worth the time or gratitude. Because of this only few could put up with his constant behavior. Maids, butlers, and soldiers were gone in a few weeks.
For years his mother had been trying to find a wife for him, but failed every time. Everytime a suitor comes to the castle they just run out crying or angry. The only reason women would keep on coming was because of his cute face.
One day, his mother had enough of this and set in a plan. Not just for a wife but to also respect the people of his country. The same people he never gave time of day too. She has no idea if it will work but she cannot think of anything better. So now here is where the story starts.

In the library the sun sets and makes a lighting that calms Kokichi. Just sitting there reading a book about witches while eating snacks. He can't explain why but just loves reading books about magical creatures like witches, even though he doesn't really believe in it.
This one was about twin witches trying to stop the war between humans and witches, but there is a prophecy that one of them would become the new king or queen of witches. Kokichi chuckled to himself while reading, but got interrupted by someone coughing. He looked away at his book and at his maid Kurimi Tojo. "Excuse me your Majesty, but the queen has requested your presence." Kokichi pouted, "AWWW, right now? But I'm reading a book."
Kurimi raised an eyebrow and grabbed the book from Kokichi's hands. "I hardly call a book that only has pictures a 'book'." "HEY!" Kokichi snatches the book back and holds it tightly to his chest. "First of all, You are NOT allowed to touch my stuff, especially something I'm holding. Second! It DOES have words." Kurimi sighs, "yeah whatever, if I wasn't allowed to touch your stuff then you would be the one doing your laundry. But I do see your point, I shouldn't snatch stuff away, my apologies. But your mother still wants to see you so you better hurry up."
Kokichi grumbled and handed his book to Kurimi. "Alright, just put that away will ya?" He says while walking away. "Oh? But I thought I wasn't allowed to touch your stuff?" "SHUT UP!" Kurimi chuckled to herself as the library door shut.
Kurimi Tojo, she has worked at the castle for five years and is one of the only ones who can put up with Kokichi crap. Even though he doesn't see them as on the same plane level, he keeps her around because no matter what he would do she would never leave. Eventually he just gave up and left her alone. Also, she isn't afraid of talking back to his slide remarks.
Kokichi walks to the dining room, the place he expects to see his mother. He opens the door and sees a woman with white, wavy hair with purple tips, violet colored eyes and a long white dress. She sits there eating steak while humming a song. She looks up to see Kokichi standing there. "Hey mom, you want to see me?" Kokichi says, closing the door. "Mhmm, took you long enough though. Here, take a seat."
Kokichi takes a seat across from his mom and just sits there waiting for an exclamation on why she requested him. "Soooo what's going on?" He asked. His mother finishes her food and looks at her son. "So Kokichi, you know how I've been trying to find you a wife for quite awhile now, right?" She asks."Of course, they were all so annoying and unreal, I still can't get their stupid voices out of my head," He complains. The mother sighs, "well yes, but your constant rejection is becoming a problem. You see, the more you reject and insult princesses and duchesses the more you make a bad name not just for yourself, but this whole family. We can't have that."
Kokichi just sat there speechless, "yeah and? They had it coming. There was one girl that stuffed their bra, of course I was gonna call it out." He smiled to himself. "You're not getting it, you're almost 18, meaning you are gonna be king soon, and to do that you need a queen." "But I don't get it, why do I need a wife to rule? You have been doing this thing solo for 12 years, why can't I?" He responded. "Because if you don't have a wife then we don't have an heir. But because of your behavior, I have been forced to bend a few rules." Kokichi questioned what she meant by that.
"We are gonna have a ball opened to all of the citizens of this Kingdom. At that ball, you are gonna choose a wife. And if you don't, I'll choose for you." Kokichi was stunned, but soon started aggressively asking questions. "WHAT!? BUT I THOUGHT PRINCES ARE ONLY SUPPOSED TO MARRY PRINCESSES OR DUCHESSES, Y'KNOW LIKE WHAT WE HAVE DOING!" "Yes but we practically went through them all, and I need you to respect the people who live in our kingdom. I know they can't live without a ruler, but a ruler can't rule without subjects. You need to get over the authority complex and start seeing eye to eye to everyone. We can't turn back now, the invitation has already been sent out. Also tomorrow you are going into town."
"WHAT!? I've never even taken a step out there, but you want to throw me out there with all those gangsters!? Will I at least have guards with me?" Kokichi begged. His mother just laughed, "nope! You will be all alone, and they are not gangsters, they are nice people. Also you will be wearing the same clothes as them so you don't stand out." Kokichi was flabbergasted, but just stood up and marched out of the dining room while slamming the door. The queen was left there all alone. She sighed to herself, "teenagers."
