It was nighttime and Kokichi was getting ready for bed. Brushed his teeth, changed into pajamas, and said goodnight to his mother. All the things he usually does. As he was getting ready to lay down he heard a knock on the door. "Who the hell could that be?" The knocking continued. "Come in!" Kokichi yelled. The door opened to reveal Rantaro."Heeeeyyyyy~" Kokichi got annoyed. "What are you doing? I was about to go to bed." Kokichi asked. Rantaro walked in. "I never asked, how was your little trip to town?" He questioned. Kokichi just stared at him. "I'll admit, it was prettier then what I thought it would be, but everyone was pretty annoying and wouldn't shut up. All their food didn't look very good. Overall it was pretty lame." Said Kokichi, looking away from his friend. "Oh really? What did you do all day?" The green haired boy asked. "I just sat at a sweet shop and did nothing, I was really bored."
"Oh! You mean Mr. Rider's sweet shop? The one with the two girls working there? I think their names are Tenko and Himito? NO! Himiko! That's it's" Kokichi just looked at Rantaro slightly blushing. "Uh, yeah.. that's the one."
He couldn't get the little red haired baker out of his mind. She was engraved into his memory. He couldn't get the sound of her out. But yet, he didn't want it to. "Haha, wow! Did you know your mom buys sweets from them all the time for you? You basically eat their stuff every day!" Rantaro snickered. "Did you see Himiko? She has such pretty hair, even you would fall in love with it." he asked.
Kokichi just laid on his bed. "Yeah, I actually had a small conversation with her." Rantaro looked at Kokichi surprised. "Wait really!?" "Yeah, is it that hard to believe?"
Rantaro sat on Kokichi's bed looking out the window. "Did you like her hair?" He asked. "Yeah, it was pretty," he answered. "Well then, maybe you marry her, all problems solved!" Rantaro teased. He may have been joking but that thought remained in Kokichi's mind, echoing over and over. "Marry her…" Kokichi kept on saying to himself.
Rantaro and Kokichi kept on talking for a few more minutes until Kokichi kicked him out so they could go to bed. "Marry her…" Kokichi kept on saying to himself. "Hmm, that's not a bad idea." Kokichi was thinking, Something inside him wanted to ask her but was way too nervous too. Besides, it's not like you can go up to someone and be like "hey, I'm a prince! Do you want to marry me???" Plus he barely knows the girl, he can't be in love with someone he doesn't know. Eventually he came to a thought. He'll go to the sweet shop a couple more times to see her and if she goes to the ball then he will ask her, but if she doesn't he'll ask someone else.
"Yep, seems like a plan."
