"You two were broadcasting your conversation last night, and now you're wondering why you are trending again?" Heidi said, her arms closing and her eyes bigger than usual. She looks like a mother who is scolding her daughter.
Charlotte's mind is scattered again.
"In my head, we were only talking, just the two of us." In Charlotte's defense, she actually forgot the fact that they did live together and that thousands of people were watching them. She did not even remember if she saw the flood of messages in the comments section.
Messages from Engfa's fans, Charlotte's few supporters, and new people who wanted to know what was going on.
Charlotte was busy blushing and hyperventilating inside about the fact that she was now actually talking with Engfa Wara.
It was midnight, yet people are awake and want to know more.
"Marima and I were there, watching Engfa's live, and almost all of the people at the party were watching the two of you," Heidi said, now giggling at the memories of watching her friend converse with Engfa Waraha.
The two did not even know how the whole place was just looking at them, how people stopped what they were doing just to see and know who this Charlotte Austin was that Engfa Waraha was talking about.
They are wondering if Charlotte is worth the superstar's attention.
On the other hand, Heidi and Marima were there. Heidi, the best friend, even shouted at the party that she would be Charlotte's and Engfa's number one shipper. Her drunk self can't contain the excitement.
"Hashtag EngLot (#EngLot) is trending on Twitter. Imagine this, Charlotte, you two now have a ship name like a couple." Heidi kept on talking while Charlotte was now busy doing her own makeup.
She praises herself, and even though her emotions are all over the place again, she manages to look decent and presentable.
Charlotte put on her pink lipstick last to highlight her already pinkish lips.
"Do you wanna come with us?" After doing her makeup and fixing her summer blue dress, she asks Heidi to come along with them. Charlotte might need more people to come to support her and calm her nervous heart.
"As much as I want to come with you and Tina, I have the same scheduled photoshoot on the other side of the county." Heidi pouted, her tone changing from excited to disappointed.
Heidi wanted to see what would happen, just like the other people waiting to see what would happen next.
Charlotte's circle of friends consists of models like Heidi and Marima. Sometimes she hated the fact that they were adults and actually had to work to survive.
Charlotte just had to sigh.
"I know you are nervous, Charlotte, just be yourself," Heidi said, hugging Charlotte's shoulders.
Charlotte looked one last time at her full-body mirror. Today she is trending again because of the live broadcast of the conversation she has with Engfa Waraha.
People are now invested, interested, and curious about what will become of the two of them.
Today is the day she'll meet Engfa Waraha again.
Today is the test, the test that will tell if Charlotte Austin, the newbie, can work with Engfa Waraha-the superstar.
