"Charlotte, do you want to get out of here?" Engfa Waraha asked, standing behind Charlotte Austin.
Both of them were looking at the reflection they made in the life-size mirror in front of them.
Engfa suddenly barged into Charlotte's dressing room after the live show. Gone is the glamorous outfit she wore in their live broadcast, instead, Engfa dresses so casually this time. Engfa Waraha is now wearing only a Valenciaga shirt, Levi's ripped jeans, and a high-cut Converse, which suits the superstar's cool and breezy aura so much.
Charlotte did not even see or feel how Engfa made its way close to her.
Engfa Waraha now feels like a normal person that Charlotte Austin can be friends with without having the hesitation of believing that the other person is a celebrity and with whom Charlotte can converse informally and freely. This is the first time she has noticed Engfa Waraha looking like a normal person.
"You don't have anything to do today, P'fa?" Charlotte answered, then fixed her sundress to avoid the eye contact they are making with one another.
She can feel the summertime around her thanks to her now-yellow, vibrant sleeveless dress.
They are so close that Charlotte can hear and feel that Engfa is just behind her. The hot breaths were enveloping Charlotte's ears and neck. She can sense it.
Charlotte is turning red, and her face once again resembles a cherry.
She doesn't know if it is because of the weather, the humidity, the air conditioning in the dressing room, or because Engfa Waraha is there, asking her if she wants to go out.
"This show was the only thing on my schedule. I don't have anything to do after, and I'm really starving." Engfa answered Charlotte's question, but now she's not behind her anymore.
Charlotte looked once more in the mirror to see Engfa in the reflection. The actress smiled at her.
Charlotte turned away from the mirror to face Engfa, this time, the actress was 3 meters away from her.
The distance suddenly felt wide, long, and far.
There is silence again. For a good minute, Charlotte is just looking at Engfa, and Engfa is just staring back at her.
But like a good actress, Engfa breaks the silence by touching her stomach, acting like she is in pain because of hunger.
It is so believable that Charlotte smiled back at Engfa and agreed to get out of the studio.
"See? My stomach hurts." Engfa giggles.
"I know a place." Engfa added with a boyish smile, her dimples visibly making their way for Charlotte to find the actress so cute at the moment.
Those smiles—it feels so good to see Engfa looking like a kid excited to go out with a friend. Charlotte even saw the little jump Engfa made when Charlotte nodded her head with the invitation.
The broadcast is done, and the people around the two of them are now busy planning what their next move will be.
In Charlotte's perspective, she will just go with everything Engfa's management will provide for her.
Being with Engfa feels right for Charlotte, she doesn't know why, but that is what she is feeling at the moment.
"Excuse me? I'm still here." Tina suddenly appeared out of nowhere.
Charlotte and Engfa, unaware of Charlotte's manager's presence this whole time, almost jumped from their positions.
Engfa even cursed a little with her little breath, but Charlotte heard it and couldn't help but smile at that.
"You were there the whole time?" Engfa asked Tina, and suddenly the superstar made a shy face.
"Yes, I was here the whole time you were asking my friend on a date." Tina answered, grinning at what she said to Engfa.
Seeing all the happenings is surely entertaining for Tina Thanawan Wigg.
Both Tina and Charlotte saw how the confidence in Engfa's face vanished and now turned into tomato paste.
"Hey, it's not a date!" Charlotte, with a wide eye because of what she heard, interrupted Tina this time. She couldn't believe what her friend said.
Now Tina has made the situation awkward for Engfa and Charlotte.
This is not supposed to happen if they just notice that someone else is there with them.
They are in their own world the whole time.
Charlotte thanked God that Heidi did not come with them because, for sure, Tina and Heidi together would be a complete mess and chaos.
