2: They Know & I Am Anxious About It
I had followed Yuma to his club gathering room. Not trying to sound creepy, but I followed him for answers. I needed answers. I knocked once on the door before the vibrant tones in the room quieted & three boys stood before me. With the help of the quick rendition Matsumi gave me, I'd say these there were Kei, Euijoo, & Fuma. Euijoo looked angry upon seeing me, but acknowledged me.
"What brings you here, Asai ?" I handed over some copies of the blog I have made. "このブログについて皆さんとお話ししてもいいです？ 本当にいくつかの答えが必要です。" (Can I talk with you all about this blog ? I really need some answers.) More hushed talking commenced while I waited. A good hour passed before they let me in the room. Almost upon entering a knife lodged into the wall a few inches from me.
"Filthy blood !", one of them snarled. I think this had come from Jo, but it was easy to see that I had everyone on edge. "What do you mean by that ?", I asked hoping it wasn't as I thought. I can't be that paranoid someone found out, right ?
"It means we don't like your kind," This come from who perceive as the youngest out of the nine, Maki. I turned to Euijoo who still barely acknowledge me. "My kind ? Do you mean a human no different from you ?" This is when laughs sounded within the room, but to my ears it sounded like howling. Like I wasn't hearing a bunch of laughter. Wolves wouldn't be close to the school either.
Euijoo pointed at the papers in my hands as everyone else went about their day. Fuma staying with us. "あなたはオオカミ殺人犯のミノリと関係があります。 あなたが私たちのクラブにいくつかの笑顔を見せたから、それは変わりません、私はとても驚いています···" (You are related to a wolf murderer, Minori. That doesn't change because you flashed a few smiles to our club, I am quite surprised...) Wolf murderer... Obviously Euijoo was talking about Lord Ross.
This felt way more emotional than just a mere passion for a wonderful animal. I can't starting to build a home only for someone like my ancestor to ruin it with his prejudice. "H-how ? How do you know that ?" I didn't get a response before Fuma had pushed me out of their club room.
