The Cuphead show (Cuphead x reader)

Chapter 23-(lost in the woods)

It was getting close to winter and you and the cup brother's were told to chop up woof for the fireplace. You and Mugman was doing an excellent job, but for Cuphead, he was abousletly doing nothing but mess around. You tried to speak to your boyfriend, telling him that he'll get in trouble by Elder kettle, yet he doesn't listen like always and continues to be a dumbass. Cuphead then found Some fireworks and lit one up, quickly covering the sides of his cup...head. it flew up in the sky and then exploded. Cuphead started to laugh, while you stared at him with dissapoinment.

"Oh! Consarn it Cuphead! Don't you realize winter's coming? This is the time to work hard so we can enjoy..." Elder kettle trailed off, as he heard the same sizzling sound again, he looked over to see Cuphead lighting another firework, watching it fly up into the sky and blew up. Cuphead chuckled, but soon stopped, when Elder kettle grabbed his wrist.

"That does it! You think this is funny? Well, now you are gonna take this pile of firewood and stack it nearly..."

Whilst Elder kettle was arguing with Cuphead, Mugman walked up to you with a boredom look. "Hey y/n, what made you want to date cuphead?" He asked, making you turn to face mugman. "I...honestly don't know...I guess I just find him kind and cute and...silly. the only thing that I don't like about him is that he causes a lot of trouble and I always try to stop him from doing anything stupid...buy he never listens to me and it really hurts my feelings..." you mumbled, Mugman looked at you, feeling bad for you and irritated with Cuphead. It was none of Mugmans business and he knows not to get involved with this kind of stuff, he wanted y/n to talk to Cuphead about it and hopefully he would understand for once and listen to her instead of being rude and annoying like he always is.

You and Mugman then heard Elder kettle yell and looked over to at Cuphead to see him walk away with shame you guessed. "Uh, you do realize he didn't even take an axe?" Mugman said, which he probably heard the conversation. Elder kettle frowned upon you and Mugman, thinking that something bad will happen to Cuphead is he went alone. Mugman heavily exhaled. "We'll go with him, come on y/n"

//time skip//

You and Mugman once more were cutting wood, whereas Cuphead fired up more fireworks. He kept taking the chopped up woods that you needed and strapping them onto the fireworks, he knows what he was doing and didn't care one bit. "Will you cut that out!" Mugs yelled, as he was filled with anger. "Awe, come on Mugsy, don't be sore. I'm just having a little fun" Cuphead replied. "We're not here to have fun, we're here to chop firewood!" Mugman shoved the axe to Cuphead and walked up to the piles of wood. "Um..Mugman" you said. "What is it y/n" he responded with a small sigh. "Uh, look" Mugman turned around and saw Cuphead place the axe onto the firework and watched it fly up and blew up so loud that it was starting to hurt your ears. "Did you just launch my axe!?" Mugman asked in shock. "We're lucky we still have yours and y/n's" Mugman glared. A ding then could be heard and cuphead once again strapped both yours and his axe onto the fireworks and lit it up and...you know..the usual.  You wanted to help Mugman calm now, but he was too stressed to relax. "Unbelievable! Now we'll have to go home and get another axe" he growled.."but Mugs, he's just gonna do the same thing all over again" you whispered to him. "Well, we just have to stop him then from trying" Mugman whispered back. "Okay, fine, let's go" Cuphead shrugged, but then stopped, nervously smiling at you and Mugman. "Uh, which way was home again?" You and Mugs rolled your eyes. "It's obviously...uh, I'm not sure, hand me the compass" you watched Cuphead strap on the compass to the fireworks once more, you narrowed your eyes at him and immediately stopped him. You accidentally knocked Cuphead and the firework, making Cuphead scrape his knees and the compass breaking into two. "Ow, y/n, what was that for?" Cuphead groaned. "Eh, you kinda deserved it" Mugman mumbled, but was still furious at his brother.

"Why would you try to launch our only compass?" Mug plan asked with an unsettling grin. "I guess I didn't think that one through...but y/n pushed me and the compass fell and broke..." "oh! So now your blaming me!?" You said, glaring daggers at Cuphead. "W-What? No, I-I was ju-" "without that compass, we really are..LOST IN THE WOODS!" Mugman yelled out, his voice echoing. "Eh, I ain't to worried about it" Cuphead said, clearly not bothered at all. "Oh, your not huh? Well, it must be nice. The only reason you're not worried about anything is because Elder kettle, me and y/n, worry about everything for you. In fact, we do everything for you!" Mugman was right when he was saying this straight to his brother's face, he had the right to be angry at Cuphead. It's like he wants you, him and Mugs to get in trouble by Elder kettle.

"Oh, relax, would ya? Me not worrying about stuff is the only reason all three of us have fun around here." Cuphead said. "You wouldn't make it one day without me and y/n and our worrying!" Mugman narrowed his eyes. "Ah, banana oil! I've had it with you and your worrying!" "Oh really? Well, I'll tell ya what. Me and y/n, will keep worrying about stuff, and you keep not worrying about stuff and see where that gets you!" Mugman screamed with rage. "Okay, I will!" Cuphead scowled. "Good! I'm outta here" "great, me too" "Good!" "Great!" They both grumbled and both walked different paths. You watched, clearly confused and was filled with sadness. "Why do they always have to fight? Why can't they just get along?" You thought, seeing that they went the wrong way and the both walked away. "Come on y/n! Let's go!" Cuphead shouted. You turned to look at him and nervously rubbed your arm. "Um...sorry Cuphead, but I'm going with Mugman...I don't think you know where your going anyway.." you spoke, seeing the disappointed look on Cuphead's face, he sighed. "Fine, go with him, but I know exactly where I'm going, and you'll both be going the wrong way" he huffed and carried on stomping away. You looked at Cuphead, feeling kinda guilty that your gonna let him leave all by himself, but you knew he would do something stupid, so you followed mugman.

Fast foward to you and Mugman building a cabin to stay in. It did take a while to make, but it was worth it. You both were proud at how well you build the cabin with just stacks of wood. While mugman placed a freshly baked pie into the oven, how did he find them things? you'll never know, he heard a loud knock on the door. Whilst Mugman was chatting to whoever was outside, you closed your eyes, nearly drifting off to sleep. You ignored all the loudness that was going on and instead thought of some sweet things, like thinking about things that you enjoy or love. However, that nice feeling soon went away as you opened your eyes to see Cuphead munching down onto the pie, creating a big mess all over the floor and onto him. He even had a fake beard on, getting all the crumbs on it, you looked away in disgust and saw that Mugman was trying to get inside. Mugman thought of something and motioned for you to get outside. You despised the cold, yet you listened anyway, leaving Cuphead inside the cabin. You watched, as Mugman set up a lot of huge fireworks on the cabin, lighting them up one by one. Your eyes widened and you lightly tapped mugmans shoulder. "Mugs, Cuphead is inside" you said. "I know" he replied and lit up the last fireworks grinning widely and laughing. Before you could say anything, you heard Cupheads voice behind you and Mugs. "What're you both doing?" He asked, eating the pie. "Huh?" "I said, what're doing?" He asked again. "Look Cuphead, I'm launching my cabin with Cuphead inside, Now leave me alone Cuphead." Realizing that cuohead was there, it was too late for him to blow out the fireworks, as the cabin shot up high in the sky, blowing up and the logs falling. At first the three of you awed in amazement, but quickly ran away in fear, as the logs hit the ground, nearly hitting you and the brother's

"Well, now we've lost everthing! We're gonna die out here!" Cuphead exclaimed. "Now are you worried about it? You jerk!" Mugman shouted, glaring at Cuphead. "I'm not a jerk, you are!" "No, you are!" They was about to argue again, when you, Cuphead and Mugman can make out the sound of Elder kettle's voice. "Kids! There you are, where have you three been? I've already chopped up all the firewood. Come, get inside before you catch cold. And Cuphead, shave that beard, I'm not raising a bum." Elder kettle glared and walked back to his home. You looked at each other and Cuphead looked down at the beard, ripping it off his face. As you and the brother's followed Elder kettle. Mugman stopped Cuphead and apologized to him, tbh Cuphead should be the one to say sorry, as he got you and him and Mugs lost in the woods. You looked at Cuphead to see that he blew up his brother with another firework, you looked at him and harshly pushed him. "CUPHEAD!" You yelled, while he started to laugh.

Again, I'm really sorry this took so long to make, I tried to write this as fast as I can, but I kept my promise and it's done, so I hope you enjoyed this. Also, I'm going on holiday in a few days and I'll be gone for 2 weeks, just wanted to let you know. And when I come back, I'll continue writing my stories.
