Chapter 6-(roll the dice)

You was watching Cuphead and mugman play with a giant tyre. And they asked you to come play with them, but you declined and read your favourite book instead. "Hey kids! Our favourite radio show is about to start!" Elder kettle said. You and the cup brothers gasped and before you could run inside, elder kettle looked out the window, looking at the you, cuphead and mugman. "You're not playing with my lucky tyre again, are ya?" He asked them. "Of course not, elder kettle" cuphead and mugman said. Elder kettle looked at them suspiciously and walked away. You didn't pay attention to them talking to elder kettle and was to interested in the book. Right after you finished reading, you was about to head inside the house. You saw cuphead and mugman chasing after the tyre. You sighed and placed your book down, following them so they wouldn't get hurt. They were heading towards a tall building and ran instead chasing after the tyre. You ran instead and saw other toons, cheering and chatting. "You! You're the next contestant on roll the dice" you looked up at the stage to see another toon that was wearing a purple suit and had a dice for a head. Cuphead smiled brightly and ran up the stage, hugging King dice's leg. You stepped down the small stepped and walked up to mugman. "Oh, hey y/n we didn't notice you was following us." He said, sitting on one of the seats. "Yeah I just want to make sure you and cuphead don't get hurt" you responded, sitting next to him. He smiled and you smiled back, then looked up at the stage. "Welcome to the show! Now, let go of my leg and tell us a little bit about yourself." King dice told cuphead. Cuphead let go of his leg and before King dice can sit up straight, cuphead snatched the microphone out of his hand. "My name is Cuphead! I like roller coasters and hot dogs and tilt-a-whirl and hot dogs and flying swings and hot dogs and throwing up and roller coasters in that order!" He shouted, shaking with a wide smile. "What a lovely introduction. I-"

"Wow! I can't believe I'm standing next to the King dice. You're way shorter in person." Cuphead told him. Everyone laughed and so did you and mugman. King dice growled and snatched the microphone. "Wait Everyone in town can hear this right?" Cups asked. "That's right, first-" "that's for you, Jimmy! And you know what for!" Cuphead yelled, as he snatched the microphone back. "Who the hell is Jimmy?" You thought and looked at King dice, to see him getting frustrated. "So dice, you're an entertainer, right? I'm kind of an entertainer too. I got a joke for you, these two cannibals are eating a clown, and uh...wait. how did it go?" You starred at King dice and had a feeling he wasn't good guy. "Hey mugs, I got a feeling this isn't any ordinary game show" you spoke. "What do you mean?" He asked, rasing his eyebrow. "Don't you think this looks, suspicious?" "Uh, no not really" he said. "Nevermind, I could just be imagining things" he nodded and looked back at cuphead and king dice. You were trying to not get worried, but it kept on coming back. "I hope cuphead will be alright" you thought. "Now, a quick word from our sponsor, we'll be right back" kind dice voiced and ran off. "Hey mugs, did you get the tyre?" "Um, no we don't know where it went to. But don't worry, after the show we'll go get cuphead and look for it." You slightly smiled and heard King dice voice. "And we're back! First up, you need to-" "name that tune!" Cuphead yelled. King dice gritted his teeth and ran other to the other toons, that had instruments. The toons started to play twinkle, twinkle little star and King dice looked at cuphead, smirking at him. "Oh, that's too easy. It's...wait, I know this. Hmm, sprinkle, sprinkle, Mr car?" He asked. "He's joking right?" You asked mugs shockingly, he looked at you and shrugged. "No" King dice told him, hearing the toons awe. "Hmmm, then I better use my help line. My brother, Mugman is the smartest person I know."

The spotlight shined on mugman and he froze in fear. "Well it appears your help line is frozen in terror" kind dice told him. "Oh, right. Mugman's got really bad stage fright." Cuphead looked at you and grinned. "Y/n, I bet you're smart too, can you help me what this song is called?" He questioned. "Really Cups, you seriously don't know this song?" "No, but if you don't know, I guess I lose then" King dice, quickly grabbed cuphead and brought him back. "Since your help line was frozen in terror and your girlfriend didn't help you. You should get another chance. Shouldn't he folks?" You blushed a bit and heard the toons cheer. Cuphead blushed and slightly glared at King dice. "What's the name of your favourite song?" Whispered King dice. Cuphead whispered back and King dice smirked, running other to the performers. "Okay, Cuphead. Name this tune" the toons started playing and Cuphead had a bewildered look on his face. "But you just asked me my favourite song?" "Which song?" King dice said, going closer to him. "The daring young man on the flying trapeze?" Cuphead asked. "Correct!" Everyone cheered, while you looked at mugman, seeing him not move still.  "And now, on to the-" "trivia round" cups shouted. "Isn't he great folks?" Kind growled. "Now, the dreaded poodoo cave monster lives in which cave?" King dice looked at Cuphead, seeing him thinking and rolled his eyes. "The 'poodoo cave' monster. Let's just think out loud a little. Say the name of the cave monster." "Poodoo?" "Correct!"

"Why is he helping him, he's supposed to be figuring it out himself?" You heard no response from mugman and tapped him, getting no respond or movement from him. "Now, it's time to roll the dice! Roll any number and go straight to the mystery prize room. Literally, any number. It's basically impossible to lose." King dice told him. "Then I'll get what's coming to me" cuphead said in excitement. "Couldn't have said it better myself" cuphead was about to spin the two dice, until he stopped and turned around. "Wait! I remember how the joke goes!" Cuphead snatched the microphone from King dice and walked up to the ledge of the stage. "Two cannibals are hanging out eating lunch, which is a clown, you see? Cause there cannibals. One cannibal says to the other cannibal, does this taste funny to you?" Everyone laughed and you giggled. "We'll be right back" "no! We are not going to break!" King dice yelled, and pushed cuphead back towards the dices. "Roll the dice!" Everyone chanted for him to roll the dice and cuphead spinned it roughly. Making the dices break off and smash onto the floor. King dice gasped in terror. "Aw, dang it. I guess I lost" cuphead shrugged. "Oh, that's actually a good thing. When the dice shatter, you go directly to the mystery prize room, yay!" King dice laughed nervously and pushed cuphead towards the prize room. "Hey! He lost! He'snot supposed to get a prize" A toon elephant shouted. "This show is rigged!" An elderly elephant yelled. "Shut up! Get in there!" King dice gritted his teeth more and tried to push cuphead inside. "Rigged? Hmph!" Cuphead said and stomped up to you and mugs. "Come on guys, let's leave with our dignity intact." Cuphead picked up mugman and grabbed your hand, heading over to the front door. "No! You have to win! You're  going in that room one way or another" King dice yelled and tried to run other to cuphead, but instead got kocked over by the tyre. The tyre headed straight over to you cuphead and mugman and hitted the cup brothers. They both rolled out the building and you ran as fast as you could to help them.

(Time skip)

You saw them hit against elder kettle's door. And you skipped over to them, helping them up. Elder kettle slammed the door open and glared at Cuphead. "It's twinkle, twinkle, little star!" He yelled. You and mugman laughed and cuphead looked away in embarrassment. "Hehe I can't believe you don't know that song" you said. "Hey! It's not funny. I-I knew what it was. I..uh I was just" "Nevermind, come inside it's getting late." Elder kettle told you. You, cuphead and mugman stepped inside and cuphead tapped your shoulder, before you could walk upstairs. "Hey doll, you wanna have a sleepover? We could have pillow fights, have lots of sugar and do other fun things. Right mugsy?" Cuphead said. "Yeah, that would be fun" mugman smiled. You blushed a bit and nodded happily. "Of course, that sounds that fun" you told them. the three of you ran upstairs and ran inside cups and mugs bedroom, grabbing lots of pillows.
