I woke up in the morning but I didn't want to leave the room. I just wanted to call my mom and ask where Yeji is from. I also called my mother and said that she would be here in about an hour. The only thing I left the room was in the direction of the bathroom. Jisung went to the door regularly but couldn't get in. I know that I left them in fear, but I don't want to explain anything to them until I'm sure and it won't be easy for them. And especially when Jisung is with them. He wouldn't let me rest until I told him.

I sat on the bed for an hour and waited for my mother. I looked out the window and could hear the birds in the sky and their chirping. Suddenly someone knocked on the door.

"Honey, can I go in?" Mom asked

"Come on," but Jisung came in with her.

"Jisung please leave us alone," said mom. He looked at me and I nodded to him to go out. He left. Mom sat next to me and there was silence for a while. I interrupted him.

"Where is Yeji from?"

"From a children's home. Her parents gave her up when she was still a baby. She lived there for 10 years and hated everyone who liked her there. When we married her, she didn't want to talk to us. After about three weeks, she started talking to us. But she still didn't believe us. But suddenly she wanted love from us, which surprised us. But your father loved her so much that he gave her everything she wanted. She wrapped it around her finger, but I never gave her what she didn't need. I didn't give in and that's why he treats me like a dog and you too just because you didn't have him wrapped around your finger." She explained.

"But why is dad acting like that?"

"Because of Yeji." There was silence again. I looked at my mother and again at the sky.

"Yesterday, Yeji broke in," Mom was surprised.

"Mom, lately we've been getting calls or friends calling us saying they're in danger. When we find them, they are beaten and have a note with them. There are two people who beat them. One of them is Yeji. Yesterday she gave me a very good indication."

Mom looked at me like I was crazy. I know he doesn't believe me. And why would she trust me for about 3-4 months. That it doesn't surprise me.

"Yeji wouldn't do it," she said.

"If she hadn't done it, would she have grabbed my neck so that I had a hand print?" I raised my head so she could see it.

"Would she do it?"

"I don't know," she bowed her head.

,,You do not know? How long do you live with her? 8-9 years and you don't know?" I stood in front of her. She didn't answer me.

"I could have thought that, even after the things your father and Yeji did to you, you would defend them. Why didn't I think of that sooner? WHY DID I THINK YOU WOULD HELP ME??!" I marched around the room.

"IF I COUGHED ON YOU WOULD I COME HERE?! I WAS LOOKING FORWARD TO FINALLY FINDING MY CHILDREN, BUT YOU THINK I'M GOING TO ADOPT A STEP CHILD?!?" She stood opposite me.

,,YES! I THOUGHT YOU WOULD STAND HER UP!!"

"Do you think I don't care about you?"

"Yes..." there was awkward silence. I was looking at the ground when suddenly my mother said.

"I will take her to Germany. Keep her as far away from you and the others as possible," she said and left. I screwed up the whole thing.
