"AND I almost got detention- but somehow she let it slide. I guess it's because I'm just so charming." The younger softly spoke as he aggressively flicked his half-black, half-blond hair.
"You're so fucking weird..." The older chuckled as he watched the Australian continue to pose like a model on a magazine cover. But that's what I love about you...

Changbin really missed this. Never in a million years did he think that one day after Felix left would they be once again reunited, sharing dinner with not one hint of awkwardness or uncomfortable tension. It was comforting, familiar and he was falling in love with the younger all over again.

"So... after we graduate, debut as our group which we still need a name for- uh- what do you wanna do in the future?" Felix asked as he took another serving of pasta for Changbin.

The sudden question definitely caught the older by surprise. His immediate response to anyone would've been: Marry Felix, buy a home and adopt a baby girl and name her whatever Felix wanted, let her be spoiled by her 6 uncles and the happy couple would die due to old age, hand in hand.

But there was absolutely no way he was going to say that, at least aloud, let alone to the boy sitting before him.

"I guess I could continue writing and producing music- maybe for upcoming artists, but I would definitely love to settle with my partner." The older admitted with a blush painted on his cheeks.
"Awwww cute! Well~ there's a lot of things I want to do but my priority is finding a fiancé first-" Changbin shouldn't have taken a sip of his drink.

"YOU WHAT?!"

"The only reason my father allowed me to come back here was because I promised him that I would get a fiancé by the end of the year. He has been a little less adamant about it after all the drama, but he's definitely putting pressure on me. I just think he's worried about our family's bloodline since my sisters will probably take their husbands' names, plus he's still weird about me being gay-"

It was odd yet comforting for Changbin to see Felix talk about his rather unusual situation so calmly and in such a nonchalant manner. They both had come a long way since they had first met.

"Geez, what is up with parents being obsessed with marriage?! We got San and Hyunjin's sister, now we have you- you guys are still young and haven't even graduated... marriage my ass." Felix snickered at the humorous expression on the older's face as he stirred his drink with a straw.
"Well as they say, parents want what's best for their kids." The Australian joked with a nasally tone.

Felix could laugh all he want, but Changbin could see right through his act. The younger was anxious, scared, terrified. All he wanted was Jihu to love him again like he once did, yet what he needed was to get engaged. His whole world was in a tangled mess like earphones and his wants and needs were fighting over Felix's brain and heart.

"Have you gotten to talk to Jihu recently?" Changbin asked as he pushed and played with his food.
"He... he hasn't been answering my calls and ignoring my texts but based on his Insta stories, it seems that he's still in Korea... I just don't know why..." The Australian sighed as twirled his fork.

"Maybe... maybe it's because he still loves you and right now, he's not ready to leave you behind."
"Y-you really think so?!" Changbin hated the way Felix's eyes lit up at that very moment.
"I just have a feeling..." The Australian slightly melted in his seat and a genuine grin started to grow on his face.

"He's just... he's one of a kind, that Jihu." Felix muttered softly, looking dazed and as if he was in a fairytale. "He's blessed too... he has your heart to love him, that's one of the greatest treasures on this earth." Changbin wanted to cringe at his pathetic attempts at poetry, but it seemed like that the younger was at least mildly flattered according to the reddening of his cheeks.

"Thank you Changbin, I am so lucky to have an amazing friend like you." The younger beamed, his lips forming a huge grin. His words were so sincere and that was what made the older's heart shatter into a million pieces.

"No... really... I'm the lucky one..."

"I like you."

"Oh okay... wait- WAIT WHAT?!" The younger replied with widened eyes and reddened cheeks, covering his mouth as he had suddenly realised the situation.

Jihu felt his cheeks burn as Felix didn't really look happy with his confession. All of his anxiety slowly started to swallow him up as he continued to stare at the younger.

"I know, I know- we've only known each other for a short amount of time, this is super out of the blue but, I just needed to tell you because we see each other like- all the time and I was worried that if I bottled it in that I would never get the chance to tell you before it was too late ..." Jihu muttered, his hands now stuffed in his pockets.

"Well... I'm glad you told me, I just- I honestly don't know what to say other than why... why me?"

"You're kind, sweet, love skinship, make the most mouthwatering desserts, helpful, selfless, give great advice, patient, I'm worried if I don't stop talking, my list would go on forever." The boy stammered, looking in every direction other than the latter's.

"Wow... you- you actually like me..." Felix muttered with a soft smile. "I hope this doesn't make things weird between us and I'm so, so sor-"
"Do you wanna go on a date with me?" The younger abruptly spoke, cutting off the older.
"I- YES! I would love to!"

The two Australians giggled as they interlocked their hands, but they both knew that this time was different. A new aura, not a friendship-like sort of feeling, their hearts like crazy as they looked into each other's eyes, their breaths were short and butterflies fluttered in their stomachs like never before.

A familiar feeling in a new way.
