"HELLO? Earth to Ryujin?!" Chaeryeong frantically waved her hand in front of her friend's face and rolled her eyes when she finally gained her attention.

"Oh... s-sorry. What were you talking about?"
"At least pretend you're listening... well- it doesn't matter anymore, but do you know how frustrating it is to have a conversation with someone who can't stop staring at her ex? Well I do, SO JUST TALK TO YEJI! I'm so sick of seeing 2 of my best friends being upset." Chaeryeong whined as she shook the younger's arm.

"You make it sound so easy! May I remind you that she's engaged to Choi San? Why would she even need me when her super rich family and San's super rich family will be waiting for grandchildren." The comment made Lia snort but Yuna was quick to elbow her friend.

"Look, we all can tell Yeji is just as heartbroken as you are, probably even more but don't you think her life is much more miserable since her whole future is being set before her at such a young age?" Yuna explained fidgeting with her fingers.
"And I'm supposed to listen to the girl who didn't realise her 'boyfriend' was dating another 6 girls?"

Yuna retracted and sunk in her seat, zipping her mouth. "Okay ouch- Ryujin, you need to talk to her. You can't stop running away when things get tough. Even if you're not together anymore, you're still friends." Chaeryeong said as she nodded her head to their friend across the cafeteria, depressed as ever.

"Fine. If I'll consider it- will you guys drop it?"

It certainly wasn't what the others were hoping for, but they were happy enough to find a compromise.

"And I can't stop thinking about him..." Changbin groaned as he face planted into his pillow.
"Wow... you love someone who won't love you back... it all sounds too familiar..." Hyunjin muttered as he laid next to the older who was still whining like a child. Changbin soon sat up and rubbed his temples with a frown.

"This is ridiculous, it's been months since we've broken up. I'm Seo Changbin, Loverboy of JYP High! Before I met Felix, I could get any girl I wanted, for fuck's sake I had 7 girlfriends at the same time." Hyunjin wanted to roll his eyes but he knew his friend needed time to express his feelings. "But all of that changed because of some adorable Korean-Australian kid with freckles and a really deep voice!" The boy soon started to blush just thinking about his ex.

"You've changed for the better thanks to Felix, not gonna lie, you used be a huge jerk." The younger admitted scratching his neck, not looking in the older's direction in hopes of not getting beaten up.
"Your honesty is appreciated... anyways, I should stop talking about myself and ask how you and Seungmin are doing? Did you guys work things out?" Hyunjin then took his turn to have a whining session into the pillow.

The younger flipped his body like a pancake and pouted as he kicked his feet. "He says he needs time ever since he saw you kiss me. I don't know if we're ever gonna get back together AND IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!" The boy buried himself in the sheets of the bed. "MY FAULT?! WELL- yeah- you're right... it's all my fault and you know how sorry I am."
"I do... I'm just pissed at the universe that I don't get to date the most amazing guy on this planet..."

Hyunjin shuffled in the sheets and let his head poke up, now being the only part of him visible. "UNREQUITED LOVE SUCKS!" Changbin hugged the boy and they both continued to lay together, bonding due to the fact that both of their exes refused to return their love.

Their heartbreaks may have hurt like hell but their friendship had returned to the way it was before in all the right ways.

"So... you're just not gotta talk to him?"
"How could I, I know I'll just fall for his- his- HIS REALLY ATTRACTIVE FACE AND ADDICTING PERSONALITY! UGHHH WHY DOES HE HAVE TO BE SO HOT AND FUNNY AND NICE AT THE SAME TIME!" Chan chuckled as he watched his roommate whine into his pillow whilst kicking his feet into the mattress like a child.

"You're still hurting and that's understandable. I'm glad you have enough self control to distance yourself from Hyunjin to allow yourself to heal. It's not a bad thing to prioritise your well-being. If it makes you feel better, we all know those 2 know each other too well to not wanna be together. You and Hyunjin on the other hand were practically made for each other."

"So... I'm not being irrational? I'm not being too sensitive about something that happened ages ago?" Seungmin questioned as he shifted to sit upright.
"Of course not, Min, I don't know how I would've reacted if I saw one of Jeongin's friends kiss him but I know it wouldn't have been a positive experience."

"Even you could be upset for this long?" The younger muttered with widened eyes.
"Definitely, and especially because you love Hyunjin so much, that's why what happened hurt so badly. For now, focus on forgiving the past and moving onto the better and brighter future- if anything, I think you should talk to Changbin, it'll help you find closure."

Seungmin bit the inside of cheek and Chan could instantly sense the hesitation in the room.
"Yeah, I know it'll be a very awkward and extremely uncomfortable conversation, but it needs to happen." The younger simply nodded and the Australian smiled as he shuffled off the bed to give Seungmin some time to think to himself.

I trust Hyunjin, I trust Changbin, so why does my heart betray me and keep me from forgiving them?

Seungmin let his body sink into the bed and let his mind go empty. He feared if he thought about his ex for another moment, before he knew it, he'd be in his arms again when he wasn't ready.

A.N - I am actually so embarrassed by my lack of updates. I find that I'm always so caught up with my schoolwork, my job and extra curricular activities that writing is never a priority. As I am reaching the school holidays, I swear I'll write more so our favourite couple can have their happy ending...
