It was Friday evening and I just got home from work.
I never felt this tired in a long time, maybe I was just exhausted. I signed as I grabbed my iPhone out of my pocket to give my friends a message while making my way outside onto the patio.
Reaching the door finally while turning the knob, suddenly feeling the warm summer breeze hit my fair skin as I stepped outside. My long uncontrollable brown hair was pulled into a messy bun which sat on the top of my head.
My light brown eyes were hidden behind my shades and I was wearing shorts and a bright crop top, which is what I felt most comfortable in during hot days like this.
Opening up my Facebook messenger to receive a message from Clair
"Are we still on for tonight?" I read her message in my head.
"Yeah of course" I smiled while sending back a message.
Honestly I couldn't wait for tonight, A whole bunch of us planned to go out and drink, which wasn't probably a good idea but we decided to do it anyway.
Finally deciding to head back inside to get ready to head to town, I tried to be quiet walking back in so my family wouldn't ask me to do anything. Wasn't long after till I heard my mother call my name.
"Stella" Is all she said.
I rolled my eyes in annoyance, She probably wanted me to do the dishes or the laundry but I don't see why she doesn't ask one of my other siblings, I mean they never do stuff around here.
"Yes?" I finally answered back walking into the living room to see her sitting on the chair.
She turned my way finally speaking "Do you have plans tonight?"
That's when I knew she knew what I was going to do.
"Of course not, But I think I well go hang out with my friends for a bit and be back before midnight" I said trying to show a smile.
My mother got up from her chair and walked towards me
"I'm trusting you, please don't get in trouble or don't do anything I wouldn't do" my mom laughed as she pulled me into a hug
"I'm glad you can trust me" I said barley returning the hug
I began to walk towards my room.
Two hours has passed and the sunset was slowly going down, I made my way towards the hang out spot where my friends and I were going to be meeting.
By the time I got there, they have already started drinking.
"Oh, hey Stella" Ashley spoke while making room for me to sit.
"hey" I gave her a smile and grabbed the bottle that Deena was holding out for me to grab.
I sat there quietly listening to them talk and laugh away.
Hours has passed and I'm pretty sure everyone was feeling drunk. I mean I even felt drunk, I regret ever coming out to drink.
I got up and walked towards the road, needing my own space at the moment.
"Stella" I could hearChloe yelling out my name from a distance.
I pulled out my iPhone to check the time, it was almost midnight. I knew I had to make my way home soon. I just wasn't sure how I was going to get home.
I signed as I seen Clair running towards me.
"Are you ok?" I asked curiously
She giggled softly "yes, but I'm so drunk right now"
