As the guardians return to their base, Rae goes to her room and sits on her bed.

Rae starts to feel like she "missed" the pain. She wants to feel the pain. She never felt something like this in her life, not to mention the fact that she was screaming and crying in pure pain earlier. But, she felt weird after the fact that she realized what she was feeling. She felt...Suicidal...
The next day, Rae decided to give herself a day off. She needed it, as far as much as she believed. As she tells the other guardians, they give her a curious stare before smiling. All except for Amethyst, Amethyst got suspicious about Rae's words. Normally, Rae just gets to do the job. But now she says that she was giving herself a day off, it wasn't like her. Not at all...
Amethyst Littlewind: Rae, you don't normally give yourself a day off. Are you ok..?
Ruby-Rae: Yes, I am okay. I just uhh...need a day to chill and relax, you know?
Amethyst Littlewind: Yes, but you get my point. Right?
Ruby-Rae: I do, but remember yesterday...?
Amethyst Littlewind: I....I....*Sigh* I do...
Rae didn't want to bring up the incident that happened yesterday, she could see the worried and confused look on Amethyst's eyes and face. She took a nice, long, deep breath.
Ruby-Rae: look, I need a day to myself. You guys know that I couldn't take a break for a very long, long, LONG time. I need this day to relax and still heal, ever since that accident.
Ember Rose: We understand. Now, you go take your day off, and we will tell everyone that you are currently relaxing and healing.
Ruby-Rae: Thanks guys, I'll see you guys later on tonight.
And with that, the three guardians ran out of the base, letting Rae have her day off. After minutes of Rae sitting in her room, she started seeing the shadow figure in front of her. Rae jolted and started backing away as she was freaking the hell out and gasping hesitantly and worriedly.
???: Oh..?~ Well, I don't believe it.~ Turns "The loyalist flame" Is becoming a non-loyalist spark!!!!~
The shadow starts to laugh sadistically as it slowly gets closer and closer to the horrified Ruby-Rae. Rae didn't know what was going on or even what was happening, but she knew DAMN well that some crazy, wicked shit was about to happen. She starts to tense up as the shadow figure gets more and more closer to her and her body. Her heart rate starts to get faster and louder with fear. The shadow took notice of Rae's fear and just laughed at her with an evil and sadistic tone which made Rae more scared than she needed to.
Ruby-Rae: Whatever the hell are you or what you're trying to do to me, IT WILL NOT WORK!!!
???: Oh.?~ Then why are you scared?~ Oh, I know..~ IT'S BECAUSE I MADE YOU WEAK WITH THE BLACK SUBSTANCE!!!!~ NOW, YOU HAVE GO THROUGH THE DAMN PAIN!!!~~~
The shadow figure got closer to Rae, slowly about to dig its nails inside her soft skin. Rae starts to shake violently as the shadow digs its nail inside her flesh. The shadow rips its hand out of Rae's left arm, making Rae scream as she grips on her arm very tightly. Tears began to drop from her eyes as the blood started to leak out of her flesh. She silently cried as the pain got more and more worse by the second. Her cries made the shadow more and more satisfied meanwhile, she got more and more weaker. But she didn't give up, not by a long shot. She already witnessed losing the lives of her family at the age of 7 and in half, she grew up to deal with the pain. But as soon as she tried to face it, she felt something on her face because it happened so fast to the point where she couldn't feel it until now. Not to mention the fact that she felt the blood on her face. She tried to remain calm but she screamed even more. A couple of hours later, Rae couldn't scream anymore. The shadow looked at Rae, completely satisfied.
???: Well, it's been fun while it lasted..~ I must go now..~ Ta-Ta.~
The shadow figure disappears in thin air. Rae was left, in her room. Bleeding out, all she could do was stare at the ground. Slowly but surely she felt like she was about to pass out. As the bleeding stopped, Rae got up and walked to her bathroom as she searched for the first aid kit so she could heal herself. About 15 minutes later, she grabs a blood bag and she puts a tube in it. She puts the syringe in her vein and lets the blood fill into her skin. The blood transfusion took about 2 hours and took 4 bags of blood to get her skin tone back to normal. She hid the scar that was made from her right ear to the middle section of her forehead. She didn't know how she was going to explain everything to Ember Rose, Amethyst Littlewind, and Flower Rokisky. She was running out of decisions about what to do or what to say. The only good choice that Ruby-Rae came up with was not to say or mention anything to them. She went along with it. She hoped Mistress Crystal-Instar that her formal friends and her lover wouldn't find her acting weird.
