Once Ruby-Rae woke up, her body was sore. She tried to get up, but she ended up coughing roughly. Her lungs were sore and aching, she was slowly having trouble breathing. She was able to breathe and sit up completely. She looks around the base as she slowly stands up without feeling the pain. She walked to her closet and picked her outfit for the day.

After she puts on the outfit she chose. It took a millisecond till Rae noticed that her hand had a little ink spot on her hand, She took the opportunity to put on her black, glossy gloves. She walked to the mirror and noticed an ink spot on her forehead. She pulls out her bangs to cover the spot so no one can see it. She thought it kept the citizens from questioning what happened to her, but she was wrong.
For the past couple of hours, the citizens were concerned for their guardian would constantly ask her if she was okay, slowly making Rae lose her mind. Little-Wind, Rose, and Rokisky noticed this and backed the massive crowd away.
Amethyst Little-Wind: OK, That's enough questions from you guys.
Ember-Rose: Rae, are you ok...?
Rae did not respond to Ember-Rose. She stood quiet, panicking inside and out. The silence scares the rest of the guardians, they are now worried for their partner. What they all didn't know was that Rae was dealing with something or someone, mentally. Rae took the chance to take off to the grand forest, and to the spot where the accident took place. Rae got her knees and covered her ears, and she begged the person who was causing her pain to stop. She was the on brink of tears, crying in pure pain and agony.
Ruby-Rae: PLEASE!!! STOP, PLEASE!!! THE PAIN IS TOO MUCH FOR ME THE HANDLE!!!
The person who was inflicting the pain finds Rae's begging and pleading enjoyable.
???: Oh, why would I end the pain..?~ I like to see you squirm and cry as I make the pain much more unbearable..!!~
Rae continued to cry and groaned as the pains grew more and more intense.
Ruby-Rae: PLEASE, JUST END THIS FUCKING TORTURE ALREADY!!! I CAN'T DO THIS ANYMORE!!!!! JUST PLEASE, PLEASE END THE PAIN AND AGONY!!!
Rae felt someone holding onto her tightly. She looked at the person who was holding onto her and saw Amethyst hugging her.

Amethyst didn't say a word, she buried her head in Rae's back. Rae felt the tears from Amethyst's eyes. She was very worried for her love and partner. Rae didn't know that her squad had heard her scream and cries.

Ember-Rose: No need to... Let's head back to our base so you can relax...
