» CHAPTER III «
It was the sun that dipped down the horizon,
As sparkled the green in the lawn.
Though, the sun wasn't the only one that dipped,
Her heart had also flipped.
Walking away from him, cost a lot,
Her instincts were strong that she had fought.
His eyes didn't avert, as she turned her back,
His curious self, did not give up,
On the mystery girl he was tryna' crack.
Her walls were build up, so were his own,
Those walls strong enough for the other to break and own.
Of secrets he reeked,
They called her a freak,
Her cuts were fresh, his tattoos newly inked,
They are strong, they've been through a lot.
They have cried, they have fallen,
Yet picked themselves up.
It took him months to get over what hurt,
It took her years to get over what people always told her,
So broken he felt, so shaken she'd been,
Shouldn't they have had each other to lean?
He's been cold hearted since that day,
She listens to her heart less, now every single day.
She is not heartless,
He only needs someone to melt his heart,
The now frozen art,
To have want to melt down hard,
Is this the girl meant to put together the shattered cards?•••
