» CHAPTER XI «
Her eyes fluttering open, her head spinning rounds,
Her imagination from the past, out of the bounds.
The nightmares she used to have once,
How ceased they have now become,
Her cuts on the wrist used to be so firm,
Her death wish back then, she had wanted true to come.
He stood there right before her,
Her eyes shut from the blinding light from far,
Her mind blank from what had happened.
His expression a piece of shattered glass,
What if she hadn't woken up, Alas!
His heart would never be the same,
His mind would be just another thing he'd blame,
Just like his face, his heart would've been a classic case of broken fame.
He would lose what he'd been trying to claim, her love.
His feeling weren't suppose to be played like a game.
Those eyes, such a beautiful sight.
Those lips, such a kissable fright.
Shaking her head, she looked at him,
Clearing her mind of the images she should've dimmed.
"So, I see I blacked out,"
He laughed, "yes love, without any doubt."
She shook her head, amused at how happy he laughed,
Finally, life was looking up good, so far.
Never in her wildest dreams she would've thought,
The green eyed boy across the street,
Was all the happiness all alone she had fought for.•••
