We open in the human world, where Leon's stepmother (Mrs McVean) is cooking breakfast in the kitchen.
"Leon!" Said Mrs McVean, "Get your backside down here now! And set the table."
Coming," said Leon with a tired and annoyed voice. Leon had been up all night because of his baby brother Charlie, who was screaming at the top of his lungs all night long.
Leon put on his clothes and headed down the stairs to set the table. Mrs McVean said with a disappointed tone, "Sleeping in again? It's 8:20am!
Leon then dropped the set of cutlery on the floor and said, DAM, I'm LATE!" He then rushed for his school supplies and headed straight for the door.
"He didn't even set the table! That boy is going to be in trouble when he gets home. He will." Mr McVean said (Leon's dad):
13 minutes later...
Ok, it's 8:35 a.m. I'm 5 minutes late. That's not that late. Let's hope Mr. Watt won't yell at me," said Leon with an out-of-breath cough from running.
Leon went into the school, and as he went down the hallway, people were giggling. He thought to himself, What now? He looked down at his feet and realised he was still wearing his crocks! "Aw crap," he said as his bully Carl Fritz came up to him and said, Hey, what's up, dip face, nice slippers!" He then pushed himself onto the floor, causing all his books to fly out of his hand. They started kicking his books across the hallway as people laughed their heads off. Leon grabbed all his books and ran away to his first class, trying to hold back his emotions.
After dusting himself off, he arrives in Mr. Watt's math class, and he is the last to arrive. Hey, Mr. Watt, sorry I'm late; traffic was a nightmare!" Leon said jokingly that he wanted his teacher to not punish him. Mr. Watt took a breath before saying this to Leon: "Leon, this is the 10th time in a row you have been 5+ minutes late for my class. I am sick and tired of your nonsense, and I am sending you to the head teacher this instant. May God have mercy on your stupid soul." Without saying a word, Leon left the classroom to go see the head (Mr. Alexander Smith, Sr.). Leon said, "Well, that's great. I'm now being punished for being bullied. I love society!"
Leon then arrived at Smith's office and opened the door. "Ahh...Leon, take a seat, young man." Said smith "I have heard what Mr. Watt has been saying. I am very disappointed that you are my worst student at Inverness High, and I feel like a day's suspension is needed, just so you know it's your fault." Leon said with a furious tone, "Oh yeah, I will be a better person after a day." Two! Get out of my office!" Smith shouted, and Leon stormed out of the room and out of the school.
"Not a good day, Leon." Not a good day."
