The Dragon Knight

Prologue

Normally, I'm pretty cautious, careful, smart, and sneaky when I'm hiding on a planet. Buuuutttt, the sky was a cloudless blue, a warm wind brushing my face with the sun shining cheerfully in the sky. Everything was practically begging me to go for a "short" flight.

So I threw caution to the wind.

With the perfect weather, I thought, nothing could possibly go wrong, right? I mean just look at the sun. It's so cheerful.

Less than ten minutes later, my thoughts went something along the lines of, "Screw the sun!" With some creative curse words that I dare not repeat. If mother were here, she would have washed out my mouth with soap. No, scratch that. She probably would have dunked me in a tub of liquid soap and forced me to gargle the stuff.

Yep. That bad.

Anyways, I was just winging lazily in the air, drifting on a warm breeze gliding down to the ground when suddenly, while I was low to the ground, a chain went over my neck and was pulled taut. Then three more chains looped over me. I was stuck and while attempting to pull free a alien leaped out from behind a rock and jabbed something into my side. I could tell it was a sedative, but sedatives don't work on ejderha. I decided I would play along. Who knows? I might have some fun escaping.

I pretended to go limp and stopped struggling, closing my eyes. I went ahead and decided to take a nap. After all, it's one of my talents. Sleeping anywhere, in any situation.
_____________________________________Some time must've passed, because I was prodded awake by geonosian with a spear. I groggily opened one eye to glare at the thing before standing as others surrounded me. Clamps were on my wings to prevent me from flying, but I could get them off easily. My current form was a huge scaly beast, as all of my forms were, with amber and various shades of brown on my body. It even had light orange in some spots. The colors acted as camouflage, and this type of dragon once lived here, so that was probably why they had taken me here.

I walked in the circle they made around me as they escorted me through a large tunnel. I passed several other beasts, native beings here mostly. Suddenly they stopped and threw chains over me and I began to thrash and struggle with all my strength. I threw some of the geonosians off, but most stayed strong and began to drag me into the bright, blinding light.
