"Bo, I'll go with you. I don't know the area. How the hell did you get there? What were you doing there? And how did you find this coffeeshop? Who recommended this place?" Teo grumbled as always buring his face in his smartphone without taking his eyes off the screen.

"No one recommended. Why do I need anyone's advice just to drink coffee in a cozy place? My phone was dead, and I didn't have a charger with me. I couldn't get there without a navigator. My magnetic charger, that was in the car, burned out or just glitched at that time. I had to park and look for a place. Did I satisfy your curiosity?!" I was almost honest with him. I would never enter the weird place if not two stupid teen girls who started stalking me in the street; one of them managed to take pictures of me, she did it literally nonstop as if a machine gun.

We got into the car, the route was built. Forty seven minutes on the toll road. Teo was in the seat behind me, he convinced it was the safest place in the car. Once I read somewhere that the driver in case of an emergency would taxi out to save themselves. The instinct of self-preservation if you want. That meant that the safest place ever was behind the driver.

"Okay, Bo, your phone is dead," he was trying to recreate that moment. "You were looking for a quick recharge, but why whyyyy are we going back there again? It's forty seven minutes away from here. We could have walked to Stumptown (meaning Stumptown Coffee Roasters). All our squad is already there. And now you want go to the other end of the city. Did you forget something there?" without looking up from the phone, he mumbled into my ears and leaned back with such force that it made the car shake.

"Teo, you plopped in your seat so hard that even the steering wheel reacted and the car twitched!" As soon as I finished the sentence, I heard:

"Booo, something is wrooong. Slow down! Slow down right now! Oh no! We're going to die! We're going to be smashed like insects," Teo blurted out with a squeal.

I looked up in the rearview mirror. I've never seen him so pale. At that moment, I grabbed the steering wheel so hard that it seemed I would tear the wheel off the car. Looking in the side mirror, I turned on the right turn signal and began to slow down. I immediately pressed the emergency button and then "sos".

"Teo, sit still, please. And don't leave the car. This is a high-speed road, you can not stand on the side of the road here to say nothing of leaving the car," I shouted with irritation, addressing my indignation towards the passenger seats. My friend was not visible, as he was already squatting with his booty facing the roof of the car, whispering something under his breath.

"Don't worry, everything will be fine. I'm sorry I blew up at you. I called for help. We just have to wait. Look around, get up, it's safe here. Don't worry about anything. We'll be helped soon." I blurted out, hoping for the best.

I have never had such situations, but things haven't gone according to my plan since yesterday. The phone ran out of battery, I ended up in an unknown area, now the breakdown. They said that it could take them more than one hour to come.

"Lots of challenges!... Oh, wait! I completely forgot. How so?! What kind of memory?! I'm hopeless." I left the car talking to myself. I was clearly told to set up an emergency sign. "And I forgot everything. But where to look for this sign?!"

I opened the trunk. It was empty. Thank goodness, good signal. I was able to google "the trunk is empty, what to do if you need an emergency sign." After watching the video to the end, I understood that it was just an illusion that trunk was empty. In fact, it had a lot of different shelves. I found the door, gently turned the button, and opened it. Inside (yay!) was an emergency sign. "Now I have to calculate the correct number of steps from the car to place it at a distance as specified in the rules (approximately ten feet)." Having talked to myself again, I calmed down and returned to the car.

"It was a bad idea from the beginning. See where we are now! Can't get out, can't go to the toilet. Where are w...?!" Teo did not have time to finish the phrase when I interrupted him:

"Well, why can't we? Here you are, for example, the owner of a hanging sausage, you can afford to urinate by simply turning your back, while I can only do it in a glass or a bottle if I aim well."

"You forbade me to leave the car. Wait, are you offering me to pee putting my boy out of the window?" Laughing and leaning towards the window, Teo dropped the phone and stepped on it. "Maaan, I crushed the screen, but I weigh only 165 pounds... Will you go to that new fitness club with me, look at me, no, don't look at me, I'm a whale..."

"Whales are beautiful animals."

"Yes, they are, but they don't have to keep fit or post new profile pictures on Tinder," reasoned Teo.

A very long hour passed. I called the help service again, ended up on the waiting list for another fifteen minutes, later I got the answer: "Stand by, we are receiving many calls today."

"Teo, I think I can handle it myself. While I was watching the video about the trunk, I found a jack. It's such a thing that lifts a car. I think that I can get us out of here myself. It's just to change a wheel. There's a spare tire under the trunk. I'll watch a video on how to change the tire. How do you like my idea?" I tried to look into Teo's eyes, it felt like he was going to cry.

I remembered how I taught him to ride a bike as a child. My mother gave me a brand new glistening two-wheeled bicycle. Orange, with bright reflectors. I grew up across the street from him. He didn't have a bike back then. I invited him to play outside and offered him a ride on my new orange beauty. He really wanted to, but he couldn't, and then I decided to teach him how to ride.
