THE CARRERA FAMILY arrives to the country club not long after they left their house. kali stays in the lobby with the cameron's as the rest of her family go into the main area with everyone else. "i think an angel may have fallen from heaven" sarah says from behind kali. she turns around with a smile "well she must be looking in the mirror" kali responds hugging sarah.

"your dress looks amazing lii" sarah says with a smile as she pulls away from kali "oh stop it, this old thing. but you look absolutely beautiful" she says jokingly before completing her best friend. the two of them start walking with towards the rest of the camerons as ward speaks "girls it's time come on" he calls after them and kali rolls her eyes.

"you clean up nicely" rafe says with a smug smile while kali rolls her eyes and ignores him as wheezie and her date walk out then sarah and topper and now her and rafe "smile like your life depends on it because it does." kali holds on to rafe's arm as they walk in. the other members of the club applaud like they are royalty here to bless a baby.

after all the cheers and they are able to split off kali turns to rafe and smacks him "that's for the movie." she crosses her arms and looks to him. "i want to know what the hell happened and i want to know now." kali waits for an answer.

rafe looks to her with a scowl "first off what the hell is wrong with you? it was something between the boys that you and your friends had no business getting in the middle of." he says with an eye roll and kali scoffs "you are such an asshole" she goes to walk off and rafe grabs her arm.

"look i'm sorry. do you want me to give you a golden medal or some shit of congratulations?" rafe says and kali scoffs "don't touch me. just, leave me alone i never want to hear from you again." she yanks her arm from his grip and walks off "yea well you weren't my first choice." rafe yells after kali and she just shakes her head with an eyeroll.

after the encounter that rafe and kali had, she had been in a shitty mood the whole night. she didn't really dance at all she just sat there and observed everyone. rafe would every now and then look at her but she would roll her eyes at him and look somewhere else.

kali sees jj she sighs and walks up to him "j i have never been more glad to see you" he turns around and faces her "hey kals it's good to see you too, but i'm on a mission that's top secret that i can't talk about" jj says and kali just looks at him with a small smile and nods her head. "go be a super spy j just don't get caught" kali says with a wink and walks off to get a drink.

what either jj nor kali knew was that rafe saw the whole thing and he was beyond pissed. he watched jj intently and when he saw an opportunity he let kelce know "hey one of the pogues decided to come uninvited" he says with a chuckle and walks up to jj.

rafe turns jj around and looks at him "i'm wondering if you could get me a mai tai my friend" rafe says with a fake smile while holding onto jjs shoulders "yea pogue how about you make that two" kelce adds on. jj looks between the two "yea well i'm on the clock right now. you guys look spiffy you know?" jj wipes a bit of 'dust' off rafe's suit and looks back up to him "i got a couple of orders ahead of you so why don't you guys just go ahead and wait by the bar?" he says backing up a bit from rafe and then running.
