"I hate these buses." Peter said, moving around uncomfortably.

"Just a little bit longer, and then you don't have to sit here anymore." MJ replied, smiling at her boyfriend.

"I mean, come on. They aren't comfortable, they're so bumpy, and the seatbelts never work."

"Are you done complaining?" MJ asked, her eyebrow raised.

"I guess." Peter rolled his eyes, and put his head down.

Peter scrolled through his phone, trying to ignore the world around him. He groaned as the bus continued to bump around, and tried to stay focused on his phone.

And then it started.

Peter's ears began to ring. The hair on his arms stood up. He couldn't focus on one thing anymore.

Peter picked his head up, and looked around.

"Peter? Are you okay?" MJ asked, watching as Peter frantically looked around.

Peter didn't answer, and instead looked out the window, directly towards the city. His eyes widened as he watched a giant alien spaceship float above it, barely moving.

"Not again." Peter turned his head, and started to slap Eddie's face. "Eddie, I need you to cause a distraction."

Eddie's eyes widened as he looked at the spaceship, and he dropped his phone. "Holy shit. We're all gonna die! There's a spaceship!" Eddie ran to the back of the bus, and the entire class followed him to watch the ship from the bus's windows.

"Thanks?" Peter said aloud, before opening his bag, and grabbing his webshooters. As he opened the window and crawled out, MJ grabbed his arm.

"Here." The girl handed Peter his mask, and kissed him. "Be safe."

Peter nodded, and slid his mask over his face, before jumping away from the bus, and swinging under the bridge, towards the city.

...

Peter landed with a roll, and quickly put the rest of his suit on. He took a deep breath, and started swinging again.

"Just a typical day, swinging directly towards an alien invasion. What has your life become, Parker?" Peter said aloud, as he continued swinging.

As he made his way towards Washington Square Park, he noticed debris flying up into the air, and something flying below him. Peter wondered what it was, until he saw the colors of it.

Red and gold.

Stark.

Peter rolled his eyes, and jumped towards the man below him. As he got closer to the ground, he saw one giant alien, throwing a hammer directly at Tony.

Peter jumped down and caught it.

"Hey man!" Peter nodded his head at the alien, before turning back to Iron Man. "Stark."

"Kid, where'd you come from?" Tony asked, surprised to see Peter.

"You don't get to ask me questions like that anym-" Peter was cut off by the alien grabbing him, and throwing him away, Peter yelling as he did.

"What the hell is this guy's problem?" Peter stood up, and launched himself towards the giant monster.

Tony, mid fight, responded to the boy. "Uh, he's from space and he came to steal a necklace from a wizard."

Peter jumped towards the alien, but was caught mid air, and thrown away again. Tony, starting to shoot at him, kept flying out of the way, nearly being hit with a taxi being thrown through the air. Peter caught the taxi with a web, and slammed it back to the ground, right on top of the alien.

Tony and Peter continued fighting the alien, almost becoming a team again. All of a sudden, Peter was kicked out of the way, and the giant alien slammed his hammer down onto Tony, a shield appearing out of Tony's arm as he did.

All of a sudden, something flew past Peter.

"Kid that's the wizard, get on it!"

Peter rolled his eyes, but began to chase after the alien and wizard flying through the air.

"Hey! Has anyone called you Squidward yet?" Peter continued swinging after the alien, getting closer and closer to it.

"What about that guy from Lilo and Stitch? You and your buddy look like them! What were their names?"

The skinny alien in front of him got clearly annoyed, and threw a sign at the boy behind him, knocking him away.

Peter, catching himself, launched himself off of the sign. "Not cool!"

The alien used the powers he had to bend the light posts in front of him, one of them catching the wizard by the cape. The wizard fell out of the giant cape, and began to fall to the ground, before Peter caught him with a web.

"Gotcha!" Peter began to swing off, but the wizard started to be sucked into the sky by a blue beam.

"No!" Peter grabbed onto a light post, and held on for dear life, before the light post was pulled from the ground and he began to be sucked up into the sky too.

"Yo Stark? I'm being beamed up!"

Tony replied through his comms.

"Hang on kid!"

Peter made it to the top of the ship, and started crawling on the side of it, eventually making his way to the middle.

The ship started to rise back up into the sky, and Peter started to panic.

"Oh that's definitely not good." Peter continued to crawl towards the top, trying to find a way in. He looked down towards the ground, quickly seeing everything get smaller and smaller. Over to his right, he saw Tony slowly flying up trying to reach him.

"Pete, you gotta let go, I'm gonna catch you."

"But you said save the wizard!" Peter ripped off his mask. "I can't breathe."

"You're too high up, you're running out of air." Tony responded, still trying to get up to the boy.

"Yeah, that makes sense." Peter let go of the ship, completely losing consciousness, and began falling to the ground.

All of a sudden something flew into Peter, and began to cover his body. Peter slowly started to regain consciousness, and stood up right as his new nanotech mask covered his face.

"Woah, it smells like a new car in here." Peter said, looking at his new suit.

"You're welcome kid. Meet me inside." Tony said, before flying around to the other side of the ship.

Peter, still amazed by his new Iron Spider suit, crawled around to the back, entering the ship through a door.

"Man, I should've stayed on the bus."
