Sadness

Chapter 8

Princess went to see the dragon with Eve. When they reached it was really dark in the cave at night. Princess and Eve moved slowly to find the Dragon , Eve showed the way . After moving straight for awhile they reached to Dragon. Princess ran to the dragon as she saw "Luca!! Luca!! ". Dragon roared as heard her voice. Princess destroyed the cage with her magic and free the dragon . They hugged , She healed dragon's wound and thanked Eve.

Princess had a raging temper towards Witch . The witch came there and said "you're late princess and she laughed evil". Witch attacked them but they got up on dragon and flew away . Witch shouted "I'll be coming soon Princess , live while you can , this kingdom will ve mine". As they reached to palace Princes s called for the Servants and gathered troops from everywhere to fight the witch . She knew its not going to be an easy fight since witch was able to make the potion and get eternal power.

Meanwhile, Witch was raising an Army of undead with her new power. They were moving forward to attack the kingdom. Princess and the troops rode horses to reach their quickly. Princess told Eve to stay back but she eagerly wanted to save the village too and help princess. The troops started fighting with each other.

Undeads were easy target but witch had many more stronger ones  like ogres, the troops didn't stand a chance. Everyone could hear witch's laugh in the battlefield. Princess started fighting the witch with magic while Eve was on dragon's back and shooting arrows, dragon was burning down the battlefield.

Fight continued for few hrs like that, witch had a winning hand. Princess fought hard and was almost exhausted. Witch raised an undead dragon to fight Luca. The black Dragon. They started fighting in the sky , Eve kept held on Luca and helped her to find out the way of winning. Eve grabbed a sword and asked Luca to fly downside of dragon. As she followed, Eve stabbed the dragon and cut it down till the tail. The Black dragon was killed .

Witch was still fighting with The Princess and was about to kill her then Eve threw her sword on witch and that stabbed her head. Witch faded in the black mist. Princess sighed of relief and thanked Eve . Eve and Luca landed down towards Princess, they hugged.

As they did so , they heard a grumbling sound of rocks near the battlefield . There was a statue kept getting bigger and bigger and they heard witch's voice yelling " did y'all really think I'd be defeated so easily?!". Witch started throwing rocks and magic spells everywhere destroying fields and houses , killing people. They started running to safe places . Princess and Eve ran towards the village there was an underground hideout. Witch's laugh could be heard everywhere.

As they reached the place, Princess sat down and got teary," im gunna lose it all now i was so stupid to destroy my own land and trouble my people for stupid cause, and now i can't even make up to them". Eve placed hand on her shoulder " you did what you had to princess and everyone makes mistakes, in my world im nothing, there has to be a way to stop it we can still save this world". Eve sat beside her and after a quiet moment princess said " you're right we still have a way " . She looked at eve and said"you can save us eve , only you can do that ". "What?! How can i , I've no magic and nothing i can't do it Your majesty". "You can Eve , the statue is connected to ground with a core it takes power from undead buried in ground, you have to destroy it. Me and Luca will distract the witch and you can destroy the core". Eve thought for a moment and nodded " i will do it Princess".

They ran towards the statue, the place was a complete mess . Eve and Princess looked at each other and nodded "we'll save this place" Princess jumped on Luca and flew towards statue, she attacked her , distracting her to the side.
Eve ran towards the core point of the statue, looking around. Covered with blue glowing light she found the core. Rocks were falling from the statue because of the big size but she dodged and made it. She held her sword up in air and hit the core many times. After few strikes she stroked the core with full force and sword got stuck in it. She pressed it deeply in and core was destroyed.

After the core was destroyed, witch screamed and disappeared,the rocks started falling down, eve ran and ran to safe place, but couldn't find a way . Rocks fell on her and she was buried in.
Princess, Luca and others looked for her everywhere but couldn't find.

The village's people came there , grandpa and others too and bowed down to princess and asked about Eve.
She told them everything they all got teary after hearing it . Grandpa clapped his hands together and looked for Eve under the rocks with magic . He found her under some dirt and tiny rocks . They pulled her out somehow. She was still alive. They all thanked the God.
