Sadness

Chapter 2

As she was sleeping in her room. Her eyes still wet and dark circles under her eye lashes.
In her dream, She saw white light in front of her eyes. It was like she was teleported to that place. It felt real, she couldn't open her eyes in her sleep cuz of white light. Then suddenly she felt something soft in her legs, and as the white light was gone. She opened her eyes slowly again, feeling a soft and gentle breeze on her cheeks, she could smell the soil.

She opened her eyes completely and as she looked around, Eve found herself in between a beautiful place, the place exactly same that she used to draw or she used to imagine.

She couldn't believe her eyes, Eve rubbed her eyes to make everything clear, it was so real. She was happy to be there. She fell on ground to feel the grass, and walked around, danced on green grass.

She saw different kind of flowers, many types of trees around and the fresh soil and grass. There was a river nearby. She moved further to approach the river.

It was like her dream came true. She put down her legs in water and relaxed. She was feeling like the happiest girl in this world. As she looked at her image in water. Her face was all cleaned. No more tear marks on her cheeks, no more dark circles under her eye lashes. As she moved around she saw many trees of fruits too.

She ate some fruits, and Eve lay down on grass and fell asleep again.

Next time when she woke up...

The place was no longer there it was her room again. She looked around and there was no trace of that place she was into.

She realized it that.. It was just a dream, but she was still happy that she could dream about her dream world. She could be atleast out of this cage.

When she was getting ready for her school, she saw a grass piece stuck in her dress. It was a strange thing, because she never went to any place like that.

As she was getting late for school she just threw it away and rushed out of her room.

Her mom was always treating her like a maid of the house.
She used to do chores before going to school. And after coming back home.

Her mom used to order her to cook too.
She started cooking in her early age.
She used to got beaten if its not cooked well .
She cried again every night.
Under her pillow....

She always forgot about her birthday. But atleast her dad was there to wish. It used to make her happy. To knew that her dad is always there to support her.
But only when he's at home.

She kept wishing that, if she could run away to that place she saw in her Dream.

But she never dreamed of that place again. But she used to make herself happy, by sketching and drawing andsinging her favorite songs. She used to watch animes and used to read stories. Which used to take her away from the cruel reality.

In school, she liked to take part in drawing competition and singing competitions. But no one ever voted for her, no one ever liked her art.

It was her sadness and her all the time. She had no one to rely on. No one to share her problem to. No one to help her out.

She gave up on the dream she had. She couldn't find any clue to go to that place again. Because it felt so real but now she realized that. It was just a dream. It was nothing real about that place.

She passed with good grades in her middle school. Her dad was really proud of her. But her mom, she never appreciated her hard work.

But Eve was happy to make her dad proud. So she kept working hard for her daddy.

That night, eve had that dream again.
Those flowers, that breeze, that smell. It was the same place that she visited before.

Eve was so happy again, she never wanted to live this place again. She enjoyed herself to the fullest as much as she could. She played, danced and sand songs too.

There was no one to complain about her. No one to make her feel useless..
