An Untimely Eclipse.

Part 5

Champion awoke well before dawn, and it seemed like the majority of heroes were as well.

There were four horses mingling about with the heroes. When Champion walked out of the stable, he was almost trampled by a horse at least four times the same size as a normal horse.

"Hylia!" Champion shouted, spooking the horse.

Champion briskly jogged over to where Twi, Time and Wind were talking. Four and Legend were petting a horse so grey it almost looked purple, with extravagant armor.

There was another horse that caught his eye. One that had guardian looking armor. It looked so much like his horse, his eyes lingering on it.

"You like that one don't you?" Wild said coming up behind Champion.

Champion jolted. "Yeah it looks like Bridger."

"Thats epona. Flora has Storm, and I think you'll like that one. She's my pride." Wild smiled fondly.

A huge muzzle bumped Wild's shoulder. Wild laughed. "You are too, Fessik."

The grey and orange horse was pretty much purring.

"Who's going to wake up Sky?" Time asked.

Hyrule and Wilds hands shot up. Time shooed them in the direction of the stable, and not long after, a loud crash was heard, and Wilds laugh was heard. The two of them emerged from the stable, Wild cackling, and Hyrule grinning.

Champion had never seen Sky so pissed. His teeth were clenched and eyes puffy from sleeping.

"Frogs." Sky practically hissed.

Warriors snorted.

"So Fezzik can probably carry up to five people, Epona can carry two, so can Selene- maybe. Lance can carry two as well." Wild said, counting on his fingers. "I'd prefer to be on Fezzik, he's the most temperamental."

"How about- Wild, Four, Wind, Legend and Hyrule on fezzik, Twilight on Selene, Champion and myself on Epona, and Time and sky on Lance?" Wars aked.

"That works." Wild said.

"Big horse." Wind said.

Once everyone was situated, the party set off, Wild in the lead.

Champion marveled at how well his horse controlled. He was holding the reins, with Warriors behind him, balancing on the horse's rump.

They set off at a canter. Wars jolted, trying to balance, holding on to Champion. As they neared fort hateno, the lead horse slowed. Champion saw Wild gaze at a spot in the field.

He guided his horse next to Fezzik.

"Is he ok?" Wars murmured in his ear. Champion shrugged.

He placed his hand on Wild's boot. "Hey."

Wild seized, grabbing his sword. Once his eyes locked with Champion's, the tension left his body.

"Oh. Hey." Wild said, putting away his sword. Four placed a hand on Wilds shoulder. Legend shrugged at Warriors.

"Holy crap what is that?" Wind shouted, taking away Wild's attention. Champion let out a breath.

Wild laughed. Their conversation faded as they set off. Twilight came up on his side.

"You saw that too?" Twi asked.

"Yeah." Wars replied.

"Lets just-" Time sighed, staring at the giant horse and its rider. "Let's just keep an eye on him."
