'I would love to kiss you under this moonlight.'
I stood still, waiting for your lips on mine, but you didn't move for five seconds. Impatiently I moved closer wanting your lips on mine, desperately. But the second I moved closer you moved away, once again. I gasped lightly out of frustration and looked at you confused. You had a smug grin on your face knowing you were messing with me and stepped away.
'See, I told you what I wanted right now, easy wasn't it?' You had a playful look whilst returning back to our conversation.
So that is what that was, I thought, the sudden change of your behavior.
'Now it's your turn, to tell me what you want.'
Still annoyed and a bit shocked of how you could just return to the conversation like that, like standing that close did nothing to you, as if I didn't make you nervous at all. I didn't answer you immediately, looking away and thinking of what I could say you grew impatient.
'Tell me what you want, Aite.'
On the open space where we ended up every word seemed to echo we were the only ones disrupting the silence of the quiet night. I ignored your impatiences thinking of an answer, but still a bit annoyed by you, playing with me. Then an answer formed in my head.
I looked at you, finally knowing what I want. I stepped closer, put my arms around your neck and tip toed to reach your lips. You stood still with wide eyes surprised by the sudden movement. Before moving further I quietly said 'You' looking you in the eyes before finally kissing you deeply.
Finally I could taste you, disappear in you, show you what I want. You did the same.
Our hands were everywhere, yours in my hair, around my waist, the back of my neck. Mine on your shoulders, in your hair and your back. I could not stop touching you, I wanted to feel more of you. With every impatient kiss I wanted more, a desire I've never felt before. We started off soft at first but the longer the kiss was the faster and harder our lips met again and again.
We kissed till we ran out of breath you pulled away looking me in the eyes smiling. Both our chest heaved up and down quick and irregular. Before my breath returned you closed the space between our lips again and kissed me hard immediately getting a soft moan out of me because of how eager you wanted my lips. I had to keep up still out of breath, you seemed to notice because you moved from my lips to my neck. Making my head fall down and my eyes roll up. The surprise of the sudden feeling made a moan come from my lips. You hugged me around the waist and kept on kissing my neck till my breath was slower. Then our lips collided again, but softer this time, with more care. Till you gave me a last peck and moved away looking me in the eyes, while you moved away.
'You don't know how long I wanted to do that.' You whispered.
'Me too'. My answer came out so soft, barely heard it myself.
You smiled and looked down to our hands holding on to each other. You then laughed quietly.
'What?' I whispered smiling, trying to look you in the eyes.
'Nothing it's just all perfect.'
I nodded in agreement. 'I don't want this night to end.'
You shook your head in agreement 'me neither.'
'Let's just not check the time.'
'I won't.'
'How about we go sit down and just talk?'
'Sounds good.'
Still holding hands we walked slowly to a bench across the square. Next to the bench was a lamppost giving just enough light to see the bench and the plants around it, but all else seemed to disappear in the dark.
We sat down and talked, for hours about everything and nothing. Time moved fast when you were not looking at it and the sky slowly got more and more light. I think I fell asleep on your shoulder when you could not see the stars anymore and when the moon had lost its brightness. I could feel your head falling on mine and we fell asleep in the awakening world.
When the birds started chirping and the sunshine was too bright to keep on sleeping I woke up. expecting your right next to me, but you weren't. Confused I stood up wobbling on my sleeping legs to look for you. everything was too bright for a few seconds so I stood to wait with squinted eyes till I could look around. But even when my eyes didn't hurt anymore I couldn't find you. I looked around, turned and walked a few steps, but you were gone.
Then I looked at our bench, to look for anything, a sign, a note, but nothing showed me where you could be.
You had left me, all alone.
