"Hey, Zane, what time is the party?"
"I don't know, she just said show up when you do."
Camilla came out of the bathroom with her curly hair pulled halfway up.
"I like that hairstyle."
She smiled at me.
"Thanks, me too."
Later after checking with my Mom to see what time the party was we finally got there only ten minutes late.
At the party everything was going great till it wasn't.
"ZANE LISTEN TO ME!"
I looked at her.
"What Cami? How am I supposed to deal with the bomb you just dropped on me! I thought we agreed to stay here!"
She looked down at the floor.
"Zane, I don't want to stay here, I want to leave this town and I'm going to whether you like it or not!"
"Camilla...you know I don't want to leave. This is our home since we were born! Why can't you stay here?"
She stomped her feet, heels hitting the ground hard.
"Because I changed my mind this town is not for me. I guess we're just not meant to be if this town is what you're always gonna call home."
"I GUESS NOT!"
"FINE THEN GOODBYE ZANE!"
I stood there watching the girl I had loved with every bit of me walk away.
What had just happened we were fine.
Now she is leaving?
I stood there slowly piece by piece my heart shattered.
