It was a nice day.

The sun was out, you were sitting at the kitchen table with (f/d) and reading, and Collector was just out in the garden trying to water the plants and humming to himself. Not to far out of sight, so nothing happens again.

Looking around the watering can was nowhere to be found though. Which would make the task of watering the garden hard for someone. And since Collector is banned from using the hose he's in a sticky spot.

"Hmmm, what will I do?" he questions looking around. Finally looking up he sees some clouds. "Alright clouds lets undo," he says smiling pointing two fingers at the cloud before separating them and the cloud.

Dragging one of the halves down he hovers the cloud over some of the garden. "Rain rain go away," he sings as the cloud starts to rain. "Come again another day," Collector continues dragging the cloud to follow.

"What are you doing?" a voice asks. Startled Collector turns around the cloud slowly disappears. "Hello?" the Collector ask. "Hi! What are you doing?" a girl asks again standing on the fence. "I was watering the garden!" Collector states proudly.

"Can I help?" "Umm sure! But the watering can is missing," Collector explains. "That's alright," she exclaims waving her hands in circle causing clouds to form. All of a sudden a bunch of rain pours down watering the whole garden and getting both kids soaked.

"Hahaha!" Collector laughs clapping his hands. "Again again!" he chants. "No I only use my magic to make the stars in the sky," the mystery girl says. "Why did you use magic to water the plants?" Collector questions.

"Oh umm well," the girl stumbles trying to explain. "Collector?" you call out. "Yes Mom!" he answers running over to the door and pulling the girl behind her. "I saw the rain was that you?" you ask walking outside with some towels.

"Nope! It was my new friend," he says showing the girl. Standing next to Collector was a girl with purple skin, white and yellow star shaped freckles all over her face and arms, and white hair in two pigtails. She was wearing a similar royal purple shirt to Collector but had a big puffy skirt at the bottom with ruffles underneath that looked like the galaxy. Finally, she was wearing golden sandals with matching bracelets and a necklace with asteroid beads.

"Oh," you say slightly shocked to see another kid, and one that looks and has the same powers as Collector. "Hello, what's your name kiddo?" you ask wrapping a towel around Collector than one on her.

"I am The Star Maker," she introduces bowing a little. "Well Star maker would you like to come in I'll make some hot chocolate to warm you both up," you say getting back up and heading in. "Come on!" Collector cheers pulling  his new friend inside.

"You have a nice house, Mom," Star maker says. "Oh, that's not my name," you laugh. "I'm (Y/n), but if you wish you may call me Mom," "Yes," she states looking at you. "Alright then, so what brings you here?"

"I was traveling across the universe then I saw this island. I don't know why, but I got a bad feeling about a present here so I came to check it out. Afterward I saw some clouds spit and when I came to check it out I saw Collector," Star Maker explains.

"Alright then, well stay as long as you need," you say taking their now empty mugs. "Thank you, Mom," they both say before running back outside. "Who's that?" Starmaker asks looking at a picture hanging on the wall.

"Hmm? Oh that Hunter, Mom, and I!" Collector explains looking at a picture of you three on one of your family dates. "Your brother gives off bad vibes," she states walking away. "He's not my brother, but yes he can be quite annoying," Collector says sticking his tongue out at the photo before joining Star Maker.

"Now what?" Collector asks. "Now I have to leave," She states looking back to the sky. "What?! Now?" Collector panics scared for his new friend leaving him. "Yep, I have a job to do," she says starting to float away. "You can't!" Collector panics grabbing her leg.

"Why not?" she asked. "Because friends don't leave each other!" he shouts. "But I have to make the galaxy, and you have to keep and eye out for the island and Mom," Star maker says. "But, but," he stammers.

"Goodbye Collector was nice meeting you," the Star maker bids before shaking her leg loose and launching into the sky. Turning around Collector refuses to look at the spot where his "friend" once stood.

Running inside he launches himself into your side on the couch. "Oof! Collector, what's wrong? And where's Star Maker?" you question placing your book down. "They left," he quietly says crying a bit.

"Oh I'm sorry, but did you have fun with your new friend?" you ask hugging him. "She's no longer my friend. She left just like everyone else. I was just a one-time plaything for her," he rants. "Oh, I'm sure that's not the case. You both seemed to have a lot of fun, but it was just time for her to get back to her home," you explain.

"I guess," he mumbles. "Besides not all friends are meant to stay in our lives, but as long as you had a fun time then that's time well spent leaving you with great memories," you say. "Yeah! Your right!" he exclaims hopping up. "I guess we can still friends!"

"Thanks, Mom," Collector says before running off to draw the day he had with his friend.
