Dear Lovelies,

First, go to his class. Second, call him out of the class and third, tell him that you love him." Anvi said while counting each step on her finger. "Easy!!", She exclaimed, shrugging her shoulders.
"Anvi, are you really his true blood sister?" Sita asked in a horrified tone. "Do you realize you are trying to hook up your best friend with your brother?"
"Baby, the word is "setting" not "hook up", Anvi explained while she held her horrified best friend by her shoulders. "And what's the problem? You do have a crush on him. When you marry him, we can stay in the same family. We can shop together, go to yoga classes together and do everything together. Just imagine Sita." Anvi waved her hands in the air.
"Oh...so I can get married to you. Why bother your brother?" Sita made a face.
"Sarcasm?? I like it. But unfortunately, I am getting married to your brother, so I will have to reject your proposal" Anvi said with an adorable pout.
"You are unbelievable" Sita face palmed while bouts of giggles filled the empty classroom.
Sita and Anvi have been best friends since kindergarten. Both were inseparable from the very first day. While Avni was the carefree extrovert, Sita was the overthinking introvert. While Avni was always busy hatching a plan to stay together for life, Sita was busy figuring out her future.
"Avni, did you revise "Alternate Current "?" Sita asked While flipping through her physics book.
"Yeah, enough to pass," Anvi replied absentmindedly. She was busy with her needle. She was embroidering a beautiful flower on her handkerchief. Suddenly, the cloth was snatched from her fingers. Her head shorted up to a furious Sita towering over her.
"Here we go, " she murmured, adjusting herself comfortably.
"Anvi, what are you doing with your life? You cannot take your life lightly because your father owns the biggest diamond company. Life is not all hunky dory, Anvi. You cannot sit back and relax like this. We have our boards in 10 days. 10 DAYS Anvi. After that nobody knows which college we will get into. We need to make a career, a good one and support ourselves. Life is not always about colours, Anvi, and life also has shades of grey." Sita ended her rant.
"Sita, calm down, baby. Chill." Anvi pushed a bottle of water towards Sita. "You think I did not think this through? My baby, all I want is a simple life. You want to become a lawyer, the best in the country, and I will support you as your best friend. I will be the first one with the "go girl" banner when you struggle with your studies." Anvi signed. " But me? I want to be a housewife—a simple life. I want a family like my own. I want to welcome my children home when they come back from school. I want to cook all three meals for my husband and get complimented. I want to manage my home finances. I want to set up my house. I want to take care of the elders in the house. I want to make a home, Sita. That is all I want."
"Anvi..I did not mean...." Sita was cut off midway.
"Yeah, I know what you mean. You just meant my best." Avni gave her a beautiful smile. "By the way, I have revised "alternate current" thrice." She stuck out her tongue.
"Chudail" Sita cursed her under her breath while Anvi just giggled at her.
(Usually, an endearment used by friend, brothers and cousins which practically translate as a witch)
