She had just finished her journalist meeting when the call came through. Robert asked, "What's the matter?"

she said anxiously. "It's Simon, Robert. He had an accident."

"Oh my god, Dana. Let's go immediately... calm down, I'll drive."

Her nerves were unraveling, and as she called her mother, she couldn't see anything in front of her except Simon and her mother. They were everything in her life, and she couldn't imagine her life without them. When Robert found her trembling, he asked with concern, "Is his condition severe? What did your mother say exactly?"
She replied anxiously, "I don't know yet. He's in the operating room."

After a few moments, her mother spoke, her voice broken, "He was on his way to work when a truck driver lost control. Witnesses say Simon tried to avoid the collision, but it was in vain. It's a miracle that he survived, that's what the doctor says."

The doctor emerged from the operating room, and Dana and her mother rushed towards him. He reassured them, saying, "No need to worry. The condition is not critical, thanks to the heavens. Once he wakes up from anesthesia, you'll be able to speak with him."

Dana and her mother breathed a sigh of relief and exhaustion. Turning to the doctor, Robert inquired about Simon's precise condition,The doctor informed them, "He has a broken rib and a fractured leg, along with some minor bruises. It's a matter of time, and he'll be better than before."

Dana said with relief, "Thank God. Calm down, Mom. Jist as the doctor advised, there's no need to worry. He's currently in a coma . Please go and take some rest while I stay by his side until he awakens."

"No, I won't leave him, not even for a single moment," she firmly replied.

Then her mother looked at Dana and handed her a small bag, saying, "Take these belongings that were with Simon at the time of the accident."

"Dana took the bag from her mother then she turned her gaze towards Robert saying, "There's no need for you to stay, Robert. Go to the newspaper to print the photos, and I'll quickly finish the article
as soon as I check on Simon."

"Alright, but stay strong for your mother. Stress and nervousness are clearly written on your face,"Robert advised.

Tears welled up in her eyes despite her desperate attempts to hold them back, as she confessed,"He's my brother, Robert. Despite our constant conflicts, I can't bear to see him in this state ."

"He'll be in better condition tomorrow," Robert assured her.

She let out a sigh, sincerely wishing for that to be the case.

"You're telling me she cried for me too. I won't believe it until I witness it myself," Simon uttered these words on the following day. The doctor was right, despite the bandages encompassing his body, he was in good health, and his sharp wit remained intact. His mother jokingly said to him "Stop provoking her, Simon. She hasn't slept since yesterday worrying about you."

Dana angrily retorted, "It's my fault. I'm a fool for worrying about you... I should have known that people like you don't die easily."

A faint laugh escaped Simon's lips, causing a twinge of pain in his wound,
causing him to cough. She got up, furious, and left the room. As she walked down the corridor, a familiar sound emanated from the phone, signifying the arrival of a message. She checked her bag and found that the message didn't arrive on her phone but on Simon's phone, which she had kept with her to give to him. Curiosity got the better of her, and she picked up the phone to read the message. It was from Paul, his friend, saying, "Are you ready for an adventure? I'll come to pick you up in my car after noon. No need to bring your car, as today we'll find out the nature of the mission and the enigmatic device. Are you still excited?"
