In the next instant, Pete let go of her hand, and immediately, an overwhelming sense of tension filled her.She felt a loss of control, desperately trying to open the parachute but it refused to respond.
Panic surged through her veins as she realized the gravity of the situation. Damn it, she was going to die... No, she wasn't ready to die yet. She didn't want to meet her end as a failed virgin, she couldn't bear that thought. She fought against the rising fear, refusing to accept her impending fate. How could she open the backup chute? The commander had told her how. Why couldn't she remember? She was so overwhelmed that her mind couldn't grasp it. She lost all composure as her body continued to plummet at a rapid speed.

Amidst the chaos, Pete's voice echoed through the communication device, "What's happening? Why haven't you deployed your parachute?"

In a state of terror, her voice trembled with fear as she desperately replied, "It's not responding. It must be malfunctioning. Please, help me!"

"Stay calm, Simon, and try to activate the backup chute," Pete advised.

She was on the verge of tears, her voice choked with panic, "It's not responding either. What do I do?"

"Calm down, I told you I would come to you. Don't worry," he reassured her.

How could he ask her to calm down in such a situation? Was he joking? She was going to die. Her hands moved frantically in every direction, desperately searching for something to hold on to. And in the next moment, she didn't know what happened. Suddenly, she found herself in someone's grasp, pulling her close to their body as if embracing her. It was Pete. Despite the large aviation goggles concealing most of his face, he held her tightly, and she held onto him in return. A sudden sense of safety washed over her. Oh my God, he was carrying her through the air. When he opened his parachute, she felt a strong gust of wind pulling them. Then everything stabilized, and they began descending slowly. If it weren't for the life-threatening situation, she would have believed this was an extraordinary experience. Time seemed to freeze.

This was the best embrace she had ever experienced, It felt so real. As they touched the ground, their feet rolling a bit, but Pete quickly regained his balance and looked at her with concern. "Are you alright ?" She nodded, blushing with embarrassment.

He moved on to check on the others, while she stood there, astounded by what had just transpired. Oh, my God. That was wonderful. She had enjoyed it so much. It was an incredible experience. After everyone regrouped, having safely landed and discarded their parachutes, the commander asked the group, "Did you all enjoy the jump?"

Everyone enthusiastically responded, "Yes, sir!"
And Dana was the happiest among them. If only she had a camera to capture this mesmerizing moment. Simon had every right to boast about his skydiving skills. The commander asked them, "Would you like to repeat the experience?" , With unwavering enthusiasm, they all nodded eagerly, especially Dana, who was the first to agree wholeheartedly. Despite the fleeting moments of fear she had experienced, she now knew beyond any doubt that there was someone to safeguard her. When he asked them to open their parachutes, he left himself to the end to ensure that everyone had opened their parachutes. Thus, she felt secure.

She heard him coordinating with the pilot via the wireless communication system, arranging for their landing location. Paul remarked to Dana, "You seem to be full of energy, even though you haven't eaten anything."

Dana suddenly remembered her hunger, which had been temporarily forgotten. She didn't really feel hungry until Paul mentioned it. She smiled in response. Curiously, Paul inquired, "What happened to your parachute?" She nonchalantly replied, "It was defective." He said, "Well, you're lucky the commander came to your rescue. Yet, I see you're still eager for another jump."
