After returning back to my dimension from the mission, I brought back another anomaly that is going to be sent back home to their rightful dimension. Our society started to grow from the two of us to now over 50 members of our elite force. As for sending all the anomalies back home, Miguel and I had planned for a large mechanism that can create a webbed dome that will send them back. It was much easier to do that than travelling to another dimension to put them back and try to not have them after us, or be placed in the wrong dimension. We built it, wired it, and was coded by my good friend SpiderByte, a holographic VR avatar with their real version sitting at home. Her real name was Margo Kess, who is a preteen with her only escape from reality was through the VR.
Things have been going well for many of us, while others have been going through a rough time after their canon events had occurred. Some faced the good ones while others were shut out from the rest of us.

I caught sight of the woman I have wanted to see. For the past month, she had been working alongside me for some of the missions as we recruited more Spiderpeople to join our society. I have been grateful for as much help as we could get.
Eventually, I was able to get some familiar faces to join us such as Penni and Peter B., who were very happy to see me again.

Penni was doing well for herself as she continued on with her current studies, and built a new suit for her little spider friend, but with a whole new upgrade. I really loved the times I spent with her during some of our missions together.
Ever since I have recruited Peter B, I spent more time and doing missions with him as well and some of the others. And more so in happy news after he returned back home to his dimension, Peter got himself together and asked MJ for a second chance. This time, he will be there for her and start a family. They got back together, and soon enough, they had their beautiful baby girl.
I couldn't help but notice Miguel getting crankier whenever I talk about what happened in the mission with Peter. He doesn't want to hear a word about him or anything that involves Peter. I started to think of Peter as his kryptonite. Speaking of which, I haven't seen him for a while.

"Hey, Jess! Is Miguel around?" I asked, catching up to her. She turned around and I can see that her stomach grew from her pregnancy. "No, he still hasn't come back." she replied to me.
He's been gone for two days now, and no one has ever seen him. Not even Lyla would tell me where he could be because "he wanted to be alone for a while and that he'll come back in a week. He doesn't want to be bothered." It was very strange of his behavior change. I decided to head over to his usual place in the building.

I walk inside the large room, his monitors were off and other tables that have unfinished projects. The room felt cold and icy as the darkness almost shadowed the entire part of the place. I sat at one of the tables to complete a random gadget that he started, looking at the blueprint beside it to see the layout and how it's supposed to function. I put on my headphones to get some noises in besides the sound of nothing, of course the silence would drive me insane.
In the back of my mind, my thoughts were lingering around everyone I met back in Miles's dimension- how I would like to see them again. I'm pretty sure Miles felt lonely after all of us went back home. Miguel wasn't ready for me to bring them on-board yet, but if we are willing to take them in, we would gladly do so. I powered my headphones on and turned on the song that has been stuck in my brain for months, like an earworm.
