Kiara's POV

"This JJ must be hot knowing you reject all these other guys at Midtown High" My cousin said with a slight chuckle. "So are you officially dating?" She asked with a smirk. Margo was from my dad's side, she moved to New York with her mom and dad about 2 years ago. I try to spend as much time with her as she lives in Brooklyn.

"Not yet. Why?" I chuckled, pushing her head away playfully. "I think he actually likes me... and I think I like him..." I explained.

"I've never been this jealous before" She pouted as she stopped on the pathway, staring at her shoes. "But i'm glad you're happy"

In thought about JJ, I didn't realise that Margo had stopped. I stepped on the road with my head down playing with the straw in the drink. In my right ear I vaguely heard someone scream. "Watch out!!!"

I stopped in the middle of the road and turned my head to see a car coming at me in the speed of light. I covered my head with my arms and shut my eyes tightly as I accepted my fate. I waited for the impact but there was none. I felt like I was flying, weird I know.

I opened my eyes to see a spider like suit. It was him. He turned mid air and placed me upright on the ground. I stood there shaking in fear as he spoke. "Next time look before you cross" Spider-Man chuckled. His voice calmed me instantly.

"Thanks for saving me, again" I adjusted my hair as it was a complete mess. "I'll be more careful next time. Only for you" I flirted with a smirk.

He suddenly took my hand and pressed his lips against it. "Are you flirting with me?" He spoke as I felt his warm breath on my hand.

My heart started racing faster and faster. "Depends if you like it or not" I shrugged.

"I do" The hero was about to finish, when my cousin yelled. "Kiara!" Margo exclaimed worriedly as she ran up to us and hugged me tightly. "You scared the shit out of me!" She said in relief. "Are you alright?" She pulled away and eyed my body, making sure I wasn't injured.

I nodded. "Thanks to him" I turned around and gazed into his big white spider like eyes.

"Let's go Kie. Uncle Mike will be worried" She tugged my arm pulling me away from him. "Not yet" I said still mesmerised by his presence. "Kie, come on!" Margo spun around and forcefully dragged me away.

I couldn't tell if I was mad or happy that she dragged me away. I should stop fantasising and wake up to reality! Margo brought me home and told my dad everything! "Spider-Man!?" My dad yelled in anger.
"Come on Kiara. How many times do I have to tell you to stay away from this guy. He comes in once a day in his little mask and gets the bad guys. My guys are out there, life's on the line doing our jobs and he comes in and does it for us" Mike argued with his hands on his head.

My eyes roll as I sit on the kitchen table chair frowning. "He's just doing his job dad. Your guys can't shoot webs and swing from buildings like he can" I groaned in distress.

"You're fathers right honey" My momther said in agreement. "Well, we show out faces. He's gotta be all secretive" She stated.

"Whatever. Can I go now?" I sat up and waited for him to say or do something. They both nodded once as I grinned brightly. I thanked them and ran to my room. I jumped onto my bed. "That went on for a while" She shook her head with a raised brow. "By the way you left this on your desk" She picked up my sketchbook and handed it to me.

"Don't tell me you looked through it" I hid my face in embarrassment. She nodded slowly. "I'm not judging. I think the spiders kinda cool too" Margo grinned as she moved closer to me. "I wonder who he is?" She thought curiously. "What if hes black" Margo thought out loud. I furrowed my brows.

"Nah" I shook my head and laid back.

JJ's POV
Parker Residence

"She was flirting with me. Kie's down bad for Spider-Man dude" I explained with my hands to Pope as I spun around on my chair.

"I know and it's dumb" He shrugged carelessly putting his shoes on. "We gonna do that thing tonight?" He sat up and pushed my chair toward the window. I smirked as I grabbed my mask and backpack, I slipped it over my head. "Meet ya there" I said before leaping off my window and swinging from the building.

I got to the large underground parking lot. It was empty and abandoned which was perfect for me and Pope to do spider stuff. I stood on the wall as I watched Pope run towards me. He bent over with his hands on his knees, panting hard. "Okay give me the web shooter now" He stood up straight and held out his hand.

"I spent hours making this one. Don't break it" I pulled the shooter out of my backpack and handed it to him. He grinned excitedly as he put it on his wrist. "One more thing" I grabbed a black and red Spider-Man mask and he let out a small gasp.

"Yo this is sick. Thanks man" Pope slipped on his head and pretended to shoot webs around. I chuckled as I watched him carefully. "Wait... why is it black? Is it because i'm black?" He furrowed his eyebrows.

"No we can't both be red and blue duh" I shook my head and laughed. "You're first lesson is to shoot a web at this brick wall" I became serious as I walked off the wall and stood infront of him.

Pope nodded as he positioned himself and clicked the small button, shooting a web at the wall. He gasped and jumped around whilst I clapped. "That was good right?" He widened his eyebrows and nodded.

"Sure man. Do some more" I insisted as I stood back and watched my best friend. He shot a couple more and turned around to me chuckling. "What next?" Pope pulled his mask up to his hair line. "Can I swing like you do?" He bit his lower lip.

I shook my head side to side with a smirk. "No chance" I said in a serious tone. I pulled my mask up up to my eyes.

I was hanging upside with a web attached to my feet, while Pope was laying on a web hammock. "I hope you can Kiara get together you deserve a girl like her" Pope spoke breaking the silence. I smiled underneath my mask before he spoke again. "Truth is, I didn't want you to get a girl because you would be with her all the time and would have to time for me" He explained as he let out a hard sigh.

Pope confessing his feelings? That's a first. I pouted at his sentence. I stood up and walked over to his hammock, I lifted my mask and looked at him with a sad expression. "I love you too man" I smiled. Pope sat up and lifted his mask revealing a huge smile.

"You're so corny" He hit my arm playfully. "Love you too dude" He spoke as he nodded once.

I hope me and Kie's relationship doesn't ruin my relationship with Pope.
