I sighed, signing off on my last bit of paper work. Finally, I'm done. I leaned back in the chair and closed my eyes. Today is going to be a busy day, I can tell already. I've got to turn these papers in before six and then I plan on taking the kids and Blair out for a picnic. Then I want to take them to Lenord's Ranch on the south of town. I know Aliby will love the ranch. She's gotten a thing for horses.
"Ed, baby, you in here?" I hummed when I heard Blair's call. She came into the room with a small bowl and that wonderful smile that's always on her face. "I bought you some grapes."
"Why, thank you, love."
She took it upon herself to sit on my lap, straddling me (not that I minded anyways). I placed my hands on her hips with a smile. She held a grape to my lips, raising her eyebrows slightly. I opened my mouth and let her feed me.
"Good boy," she murmured. I shook my head with a smile. "We're getting old now, huh?"
"Not old, wise."
"Hmm, old," she said, making both of us laugh softly. When our laughter died down and Blair had popped another grape in her own mouth I felt my insides flutter.
"I love you," I blurted catching her attention, "so much Blair."
She smiled, her eyes crinkling and little wrinkles spotting on her face where she had began to age. God, I'm getting to grow old with this wonderful women.
"I love you, too, Edward, so much."
She leaned forward and kissed my forehead and my temple. I captured her bottom lip between mine, holding her closer, placing the bowl on the desk.
My hand traveled under her shirt and she visually shivered and moved closer, if possible, sitting on my stiff. Blair started to move frantically; her hips rocking at all angles, her teeth tugging at my lips.
"Edward," she said in between kisses she was trailing two my neck, "we won't be able to do this anymore soon."
I chuckled, "not that soon baby."
She giggled. "Okay, I won't jinx it."

"Daddy, get up!"
I jumped awake after hearing Aliby's voice and a dip in the bed beside me. I pulled the covers over Blair and I more just in case.
"Hm, what baby?" I hummed. Blair shuffled against my chest and placed her hand at the base of my neck.
"It's four o'clock, you said we had a surprise at four o'clock," she said, smiling and giving that puppy look.
I rolled my eyes. "Okay, okay. How about you go and tell your brothers and sisters to get ready, yeah? Comfy clothes okay?"
"Okay daddy!"
She rushed out the room, locking and shutting the door behind her like I had asked. I buried my nose in Blair's hair and hummed.
"Do we have to get up?" She mumbled groggily.
I chuckled lightly, "mhm."
She huffed and sat up, the covers falling from her chest. She rubbed her eyes and looked down at her chest. She gasped, her fingers running over the bruises.
