"your seriously thinking about going to a club tonight?" Alaina ask, I was still very much upset and wanted nothing more than to just have some fun and forget.
"Yes," I replied, arms folded across my chest as she drove through the city, dusk had begun to show itself on the horizon and the warm evening breeze that came with it flowed through my hair.
Alaina sighed, "he's not wrong Celine.."
My head snapped to her direction, was she siding with him?
"What are you talking about?" I asked, we came up to a red light, and stopped at the back of the evening traffic.
She took her hands off the steering wheel and relaxed in the seat, "your behaving obsessive and that can be alot for anybody, you two were just having fun... I'm sure stalking wasn't apart of that deal plus, he could loose his job if he's to be caught with you. You have to be fair, I'd say it's for the best." She finished off with a shrug, I clenched my jaw hard and slumped back in the seat with a humph, I hate that she was right.
I was fighting back tears at this point because I needed to let my frustrations out on something, "if we don't get to this club fast I fear I might explode." She laughed and when the light turned green, the cars let up and we were well on our way back to the city.
"How did he know we were following him anyways?" She asked out of nowhere, I was turned away from her, looking out the window at the passing trees, I was still in my solemn mood.
I shrugged,"maybe he's an assassin or something," Alaina laughed but I was dead serious, this man had done one too many wierd shit that I choose to ignore.
"why do you think he was at a help center?" She continued, I was kind of getting annoyed at her for asking so many questions about Kyle, I didn't want to talk about him at the moment but this is Alaina and no matter the attitude I'm in, she would get her answers.
"he said he volunteers at places like those." I replied, I could see out of my peripheral that she nodded at my response but didn't ask me anymore questions after that.
Some time throughout the drive, a single tear fell from my eyes but I quickly wiped it away. As Alaina said we were just having fun, we weren't supposed to even be together in the first place.
I can't cry over fun. Im not supposed to, fun only last for a short time before it's lights out, your never supposed to catch feelings.
"We're home!" Alaina squealed, scaring the ever living shit out of me, she snapped me out of my thoughts and had me jumping in my seat like I sat on something sharp.
It even started a headache, I rubbed my temple and got out of the car, Alaina noticed my grimaced face and her's morphed into that of concern.
"Are you sure you want to go out tonight Celine?" I snapped my eyes to hers.
"yes!" I replied a little too harsh.
She raised both her hands and her eyebrows up in the air before backing away. We got to my apartment and started getting ready, following Kyle around took us all day and by the time we got back it was already night.
We both put on simple dresses and simple strapped heels to go with it, my hair was cascading down my back while Alaina's was pinned up in the perfect messy bun.
Our makeups were light and we only brought a small purse, Alaina still had her dad's car so we didn't have to Uber to the club.
When we got there, it wasn't too packed and we were grateful for that, we parked in a nearby empty spot before finally entering in our destination. In an instant the smell of alcohol, sweat and cigarette brushed our noses, making us make a face ugly enough to catch the attention of the first unwanted company of the night.
