Chater 12: Dendro's Anivursery

By the time everyone finished laughing at Allen it was already 10 pm, so Frost and Kingston decided to sleep over. Dendro prepared food in the kitchen with the help of Caitlin, and they made delicious chicken tamales, it was Kingston's first time eating Tamales so he was hesitant to try them but he eventually ended up trying them and instantly fell in love. After dinner everyone took a shower and put on Pajamas, Alec lent Kingston some clothes and Caitlin lent Frost some clothes also, Everyone except FD watched a movie in the living room and ended up falling asleep there too. "Good night kids," FD said with a smile as he went back into his room and lay down in his bed, FD stared at the ceiling for a while thinking about all the things they can do tomorrow since tomorrow is a very special day.

(The Next Day)

The kids woke up one by one, feeling pains in different areas from sleeping in odd positions, "Ahhhwwwww, my neck hurts" Barry complained as he stood up, he looked around to see only Alec left asleep. "Wake up" Barry whispered, Alec had no response so Barry repeated it louder, "Wake up," Barry said demanding, Alec once again had no response, Barry finally had enough, "WAKE UP, RACOON" Barry yelled, Alec jumped out of his sleep saying, "I wasn't even sleep... shut up...", Alec was dozing off in the middle of the sentence, Making Barry even more mad, Allen grabbed Barry shoulder, "Calm down you already know that Alec could sleep for an eternity," Allen said attempting to calm Barry down Alec still half sleep walked towards his room to get changed, though him being half sleep walked into the wrong room. Alec finally fully awake whiled his eyes to see FD sitting on the side of his bed silently crying while looking at a picture, "What's wrong Dad" Alec asked still thinking that it was his room, "No point in hiding it... come here" FD replied, Alec sat next to FD still shedding tears, FD passed the picture to Alec, on the picture was a woman with younger FD, "Kids come here" FD yelled, All the kids rushed to his room confused as why he called them, "Sit I have something I want to tell you" FD Added, everyone sat around FD waiting on what he has to say, they noticed he was crying and they expect the worst. "You all see this picture.." FD said Everyone nodded in confirmation, "This is my late wife... she died in the war with both Alec's and Allen's parents" FD explained, Everyone fell silent, "I adopted you guys on my and Late wife's anniversary", "I couldn't find Kaitlin and was working on finding her but by the time I did someone else already adopted her", "Her name was Diana... her Brother William will be visiting today with 2 of his kids", "We have cousins?" Allen asked, Alec stared at Allen with Daggers in his eyes, Alec hit Allen with a bolt of electricity shutting him up for a while. "They should be here in around an hour" Added FD, FD waved his hand signaling they could all leave after they did they all walked into the Living room to talk about what they were told, "So we do have a mother," Caitlin said, Allen tried to speak but the nerves in his mouth and tongue where disabled by Alec earlier, "You should try out your pendent Alec you might be able to talk to Mother Diana" Barry said, "I Guess I could try" Alec replied, Alec grabbed the pendant out of his pocket and placed it around his neck, a third eye opened on his forehead and it allowed him to see spirits, he saw the spirits of the living too he could see the intentions of people. The necklace explained how it is used and how to differentiate between good and bad spirits, Blue spirits are good ghosts, White Spirits are Angels, Orange Spirits are bad ghosts, Black spirits are Corrupted souls, and Red Spirits are Demons. And since Alec came of age the Pendant's power was permanently imbued into him, Everyone was confused when the Pendent went from Bright blue to a dull gray, Alec opened his third eye and saw the spirits of everyone, Kingston's spirit was Red and Black, with a white Orb in the center, Alec was very confused as he saw this, he looked at Frost and saw that her spirit was Blue in the middle and black spreading out of her, everyone else had Blue spirits. "Frost..." Alec said in hesitation, "Did you by any chance have a bad past" Alec asked, Frost looked shocked, she was surprised he guessed her past, The pendent told him he doesn't have the ability to see free-roaming dead spirits unless they allow him too, he needs to unlock the ability to see free-roaming dead spirits as he progresses, "I can't see any spirits yet but I can see the spirits of the living" Alec explains, he takes off the Pendent to make them believe he can't see their spirits any more but he still can.
