Hello my sugar-cubes
I want to introduce you guys to Kise's and Olivia's twin children.
Mimi and Rika.
———————————————————————————-
Olivia was made to wait on the sidelines as she watched the match commence. She couldn't help to drift back to a memory that she buried so long ago, memories that were one of the turning points in her young life.............
As the rain poured and more people were leaving the cemetery, only two families remained, the Floris family and the Akashi family, Olivia was hugging her father's legs and trying to hide her face. Tears refused to stop falling from her eyes and what made her emotion worse was she could hear the sobs from her mother. Of course, both of them were crying, the person that was being buried was none other than Olivia's godmother or better known as the youngest Akashi's mother. Olivia looked from her father's leg to only see a blank look on both the father and son duo. Olivia felt fearful at their lack of emotion, then she saw it. A single tear fell from Akashi's ruby eyes, she couldn't let him cry by himself. Slowly she let go of her father's leg and made her way to the youngest Akashi. He didn't react to her sudden appearance and just looked ahead as if looking through her. Olivia could help but sob even more as she took him in her arms.
"It's ok to cry Seijuro-san, you can cry on me. I'll never leave you."
Her simple words shook something inside the young child, it took some time but her found himself hugging her back and hiding his face upon her small weak shoulder. He let out a small sob but Olivia could feel her black dress becoming wet, but she didn't care. As long as she held him, he wouldn't fall apart.
...........
That was the last time she saw or heard from him, her very first friend. Maybe she could ask her mother why the communication stopped after the funeral.
Somehow Olivia ends up watching Kagami and the rest of the team play Murasakibara and his team. She stood by Kuroko as both watched the game unfold, her hand clasped on her chest in stress and hope that maybe Kagami could win. But she saw how tall Murasakibara was and no matter how high Kagami could jump he could never gain the ball at the first tip-off. But Murasakibara wasn't doing the tip-off, instead his fellow teammate, Himuro. As Himuro jumped Olivia saw a somewhat familiar ring hanging on his neck.
First came the smell of copper, Olivia knew it was going to rain but she didn't bring an umbrella. Before she could find some sort of solution the downpour came.
"We have an announcement to make. The game will be suspended. Players and referees, please return to the tents."
Olivia made her way to the tent in hopes she could drag the boys back to the tents.
"Sorry, but we'll have to settle this another time."
"Wait, Tatsuya!"
Olivia blinked in surprise, Kagami had to know this person very well to be calling him by his first name. Well, she presumes it's his first name since Murasakibara had been calling him 'Himuro'.
"I want to keep playing too, but the game will be called eventually because of the rain. It's dangerous to play on the wet court. Besides, you don't want your senior to re-injure himself, would you?"
Kagami threw the basketball to the floor and when it bounced up Himuro caught it.
"But I finally got to see you. I'll leave you a gift. It's a technique you don't know about. Defend however you like."
Himuro jumped to shoot and Kagami jumped to block the shot but for some reason, it seemed the ball fazed through Kagami's outreached hand. Olivia had to rub her eyes, was it the rain that was messing with her vision? It has to be, Kagami jumped high enough to block the shot but he still missed and the ball went through the hoop.
"See you later. If we meet again.."
"It'll be this winter. Next time, we'll be in our uniforms."
Kiyoshi proudly proclaims.
"You still haven't learned your lesson. I beat you so badly last time."
Murasakibara walked to Kuroko with Olivia standing next to the ghost boy.
"See you later Kuro-chin, Fairy-chin."
'Fairy-chin?' was he calling her a fairy? How sweet. Her admiration for the tall male who complimented her was short-lived when he once aging roughly ruffled Kuroko's pale blue hair. Kuroko gave a rather irritated face when he smacked Murasakibara's hand away.
"Don't do that."
"Oh sorry, are you mad?"
Murasakibara asked but Olivia clearly didn't see any hint of remorse on his face. While she was looking at his face the tall male turned to her and met with her pale blue eyes. Both were silenced before Murasakibara decided to break the silence.
" I'll call you later, Fairy-chin."
Kuroko's eyes widen and quickly turned to Olivia to see her response. All he saw was her shy nod and Murasakibara gave a rather childish smile before walking away. Kuroko's entire mood soured real quick, how in the world did Murasakibara get Olivia's number? Maybe he somehow conned her into giving him her number, no wait.....is Murasakibara even capable to do such a thing? But she know that Olivia would never give her number to someone she never met. Kuroko had to clear his head at the moment, he has to find a way to get Olivia home safely before he gets in trouble with her father. He'll need the help of God himself to save him from Olivia's Father's rage.
Olivia was scrolling through her phone to see the many messages from her mother. Each range from concern about Olivia's well-being to asking Olivia when can she come home and finally to Ember begging her daughter to come home because she's going to miss a deadline for one of her clients. Olivia sighed to herself, her mother's ability to procrastinate on important projects is well known in her family but what surprised both Olivia and her father is Ember's ability to keep the same job for almost 15 years.
Olivia looked outside to only see the downpour of the rain, can she really make it home on time or should she call her mother to pick her up? It was a miracle that she and the rest of the team was able to make it back to the school gym without much hassle but everyone was soaked from the rain, even Olivia. Her nice cute dress clung to her body and became rather hard for her to move. Kuroko thankfully gave her his jacket that she used to shelter herself from the rain the most she could. Olivia soon found herself pondering on how she would making back home when she heard a rather familiar female voice calling out for Kuroko.
She looked up to see.........A Bear?
