Chapter 3:

Sorrryyyy guys. :'(

I know its been quite some time since the last upload. Reason- EXAMS. I so hate them.

And if you were to ask how they were, I'd just say I'm glad they're over  ;)

CHAPTER 3:

"Jeez Ree! Calm down girl!" I had to yell over all the noise. Rina doesn't like to wait for people. You must have figured that out already. Hence, all the honking. Its become a sort of ritual now. I wouldn't be surprised if some of my neighbours didn't feel the need to have alarm clocks.

"Hey that shirt is cute, Tee" Rina, my best friend, winked at me. "Thanks", I muttered, a little out of breath from running to her car. Maddy was down at the repairs' and Ree had offered to drive me to and from school till she was back. Maddy who? My car. Ree had come up with the idea of naming our cars, and I had been reading a book then, where the lead character was named Madeline. So ever since, we started calling my car Maddy and Ree's car as Angel.

Ree had the radio turned on to our favourite station. We were crazy about the RJ. He was funny, and always played some of our favourite songs. Singing along to a Lady Antebellum song Ree pulled over at our spot in the school's parking lot. We grabbed our bags and made our way to our lockers. That's when I saw him walk by. "What an ass!" Ree smirked, eyeing Aarush's sexy figure. "Yeah. What an Ass" I rolled my eyes, hoping she would catch the sarcasm. She smacked my arm  playfully. "Give him some credit Tee. It must've taken a lot of efforts to build those rocking muscles." He was handsome, I admit. But I didn't see the point of drooling over him. 

"So who's the new girlfriend?" Tanya emerged out of the locker to my left.  "Well I guess Ashna's the lucky girl" sighed Ree. "You call that good luck? She'll be replaced by another girl in not more than a week." I slammed my locker shut. That guy seriously needed to mend his ways. He changed his girlfriends like he changed his clothes. I didn't particularly feel sorry for those girls though, they had it coming. But it still didn't justify Aarush's behaviour.

"So you guys wanna hang out after school? We could hit the beach.", suggested Tanya. "Sure. And while we're there, we could go check out this cool new cafe that opened last week." Ree said. "Yup. Sam says its got amazing food and music. He can come along too." I said.

"Come along to where?" Sam suddenly appeared behind us. "For heaven's sake Sam don't ever do that again. I almost had a heart attack there." I cried. It was weird how he had the ability to appear out of no where. We called him Sam Cullen. This ability of his was a little vampire-ish.

"Hey Sammy." Ree and Tanya high-fived him. "Hey guys. So where are we hanging out after school today?" "The beach. Lets try Casadella, that new cafe." I said. "Sure" Sam said, and we all headed to class.

Mrs. Anderson was the most boring teacher ever. If she were one of the X-Men, her superpower would be making people fall asleep in less than a minute. And to compliment her sleep-inducing talent, she taught us History. So as soon as the bell rang, we all grabbed our bags and practically ran out of the classroom. It was lunch hour, so we headed to the cafeteria. Sam and Tanya found a table and waited for us while Ree and I stood it the lunch line.

I payed for my orange juice and was walking towards our table when I ran into Aarush, spilling some of the orange juice on his shirt. "Watch where you walk girl" he growled. "I could say the same to you" I narrowed my eyes. Boy, he had an attitude. But before I could hear him retort, Ree grabbed my hand and pulled me away from the scene.

"Damn that jerk. What does he think of himself? Acting like he is a freakin' Prince of Wonderland." I slammed down the now empty can of juice. "Take a chill pill Tee" said Tanya. I turned around and saw him seated at a table with his friends. So I glared at him, only to find him looking at me quizically.
