CH 2 - THE PAST

"Yes she is your mother",the priest said, "she is Bhavna the queen of..."

"Tatvas",Jai said, interrupting the priest, "the queen of Tatvas".

"She is no more but her enemies are still there, alive".

"Pralayaa, he killed my mother , but how do I remember this all? I was a new born then".

"Powers , you also have the power dear, just like your mother but you only the main power and the other Tatvas need to be found".

"I want to know everything, who are you ? how do you know all this?"

"I'm the guru of your mother and father. I was there with your mother the whole time".

"Gurudev", jai looked closely to his face and said, "rishi Pulastya, you are named after the third rishi in the saptarishi mandal, why didn't I remember these things before?"

"You remember something when something related to it is shown or heard and same with this also i showed you your real mother's face and then you remembered these things".

"Gurudev please tell me everything about my mom and dad, what happened with my mother?"

"First you get to this that your mother was also a devotee of maa Durga and her devotion did something great, maa was always with you everywhere".

"Means maa durga was with me from the start, that's why i never got serious injuries and also never anything bad happened".

"Bad things happened, you know why, it was your destiny and others also".

"I can see maa durga?"

"No, you can't see her but your mother could see her shadow form and talk to her, we don't have that much power so that we can see her".

"I don't need to see her maa durga in my heart".

"Impressive, ok now listen",saying that Pulastya closed the doors of the temple and took Jai to the back of the temple.

"Sometimes god are unable to incarnate, so they send powers to some good people in this world",pulastya said, "your mother, Bhavna was a simple women and wife of your father , but your father was not normal , he was the son of Chandrashekhar Maheshwari, the rulers of the Tatvas . your father didn't want to get the powers after your grandfather and he was the only son. One night when Chandrashekhar was out of his palace he was attacked by Adheera, he was after the Tatvas for a long time he was prisoned very far from the tatva lok but don't know how he got freed".

"You were not there but maa saw this and she went to help grandpa",jai said , he was remembering everything.

"Yes she went to help king Chandrashekhar , she pushed Adheera away and threw a knife towards him. Adheera didn't come alone; he was with his army. Bavna was caught by two soldiers of his army. King didn't think about anything rather than saving his daughter like a daughter -in-law. He threw a stone on her and her body shone. She pushed the soldiers and took her cosmic form".

"Cosmic form, "jai said, "the Tatva's around her neck , a wand in her left hand and sword in the right hand, glow and grace on her face just like of maa Durga and her beautiful dress' '.

"Yes, then your grandfather said 'dear, maa durga had chosen you as the owner of the tattvas and you have the power dear, fight'. After saying this, Adheera stabbed king Chandrashekhar . Your mother got very furious and without any delay attacked Adheera's army. With her powers she killed all his soldiers and Adheera knew that he would also die so he started running to save his life. Bhavna with the speed of light reached in front of him. She surrounded him with fire and threw large stones at him.Adheera knelt down and begged for his life. Your mother said ' you killed my father and tried to take the Tatvas now you can't stay alive. I need to kill evil and decrease the burden on the earth'. Adheera didn't want to die, he fought with her but bhavna's anger gave her more power and she threw him on the ground and killed him with the Tatva wand".

When the kingdom's people saw her, they saw her like this and your father was also there. Your father was impressed with Bhavna but when he saw his father dead he was broken".

"Then papa and maa did the funeral and maa sat on the Tatva throne",jai said.

"You are remembering everything".

"What happened after that? Who was Pralayaa then?".

"Pralaya is Adheera's younger brother . He had vowed to kill your mother and complete his brother's dream of taking the Tatvas. The other side Bhavna started ruling the kingdom and your father was happy living his normal life. After a month or two again Bhavna was attacked by Pralayaa but she didn't kill him and gave him another chance. Bhavna was pregnant and she wished for a daughter and she prayed everyday. Later during her pregnancy pralaya attacked her again but this time maa durga saved her and he had to go away."

"Nine months were over and now it was time for me to come into this world".

"Yes on the day of durga navami you were born and Bhavna faced many difficulties to give birth to you".

"I can't remember what my mom named me?"

"After you were born your mother was not that happy as she wanted a daughter but then her love for you increases and after some days she named you 'Agastya',"

"Agastya means lord shiva".

"Yes maa durga's beloved , that's why she gave you that's' why she gave you this name".

"What happened after that gurudev?"

"Your mother took you to Ujjain in normal form and first took you to Mahakaleshwar temple then went to nearby to harsiddhi mata temple venerated there for you and then went to avanti devi temple and at last the oldest nav durga temple and got blessing for you and she did all this barefoot".

"Mom loved me so much and cared for me so much".

"Yes dear , then after some day your father went away from the tatva lok without telling anything and Bhavna thought he left as he wanted a normal life".

"Is my father alive?"

"I don't know dear, but as far as i know pralaya would have not left your father also".

Then Jai closed his eyes and saw everything that happened after that. Pralayaa pushed Bhavna and jai as an infant fell in the river and pralaya stabbed Bhavna. She somehow ran from there and reached maa kali's temple and asked for help but no one was there. Bahwna saw a drape near maa kali's feet , she picked it up and tied it around her wound and then ran to her palace. She hid the Tatva weapons and broke the Tatva necklace. She announced in the sky "i Bhavna the ruler of tattvas sacrifice the tattvas and all my powers and now these tattvas will separately choose their owners; maa durga i'm sorry , i failed as a devotee and also as a mother maa i'm leaving all my powers'.

She threw the tattva's in the sky and they disappeared. Pralayaa reached to Bhavna and killed her and when he was about to burn her body her body disappeared. It was maa durga who hid her body.

Jai then opened his eyes and stood up, "gurudev", he said in anger "you know what to do, i'm ready".

Then Rishi Pulastya saw his right hand. Jai had a dark patch which he had from childhood. Gurudev by his powers removed the dark patch and jai coils saw a trident mark. The mark was shining. And the mark threw a bright light beam which covered Jai. Nothing could be seen.

Jai inside the beam and in the air. A cloth came flying from the air and it dressed him. Then another beam came from the lamp lit under maa durga's idol, from the wind and from the land and the beam got bigger. After a minute jai gave a loud cry and then the light disappeared and jai came down.

"Its 12 am and it's the birth of Agastya time of jai's life is over its time to be Agastya , the tattva ruler",gurudev said.
