Love or obsession- (ongoing)

Chapter 2-

Sofia POV-

I wake up checking my Alarm clock and rub my eyes. It's 12. I overslept, seems like Ameera already picked out my outfit for the day. Just some ripped oversized jeans with a white crop top, and my air forces, nothing fancy.

I get in the shower and use my dove beauty bar, followed along with my honey pot feminine wash. I made sure to get every single part of my body, showering is my favorite thing to do along with my skin care routine, mainly because it just makes me feel super clean which is obviously what it's supposed to do, but I love that fresh feeling after I get out of the shower.

I notice a little paper on my nightstand. I grab it and open the note. It was a phone number. Could this have been what Matteo handed to Ameera last night? She must have put it on my nightstand while I was asleep.

I put the number into my phone and send a text message, saying, "Hello, who am I speaking to?"

No response so I get dressed and head downstairs and I see my father talking on the phone while my step mother stands beside him along with my sister. I listen in on the conversation and I hear my father talking about some.... moving arrangements?

What?

He sees me and calls me over. "Ah.. Sofia. Come join us."

"What's going on?" I ask.

"Well.. Mr.Bianchi 's son is going to be staying with us for some time. He specifically requested himself that he would like to stay with us to make work easier, so him and his older brother will be taking over for his father, since he will be very busy taking care of something in another country. They believe work will be much easier if they stay with us here for the next few weeks. It's very sudden yes but it also give my baby girl here a chance to get with Matteo." My father explains.

I roll my eyes and walk away. But before I get far Alessia walks up behind me and says, "if you even look, touch, or speak to him I swear I will drag you to the ground and make you wish you didn't even leave your fucking room in the morning. And try not to wear any revealing clothes. Please and thank you." What was wrong with this girl?

"You need help." I say as I walk away. I go over to the library and I look through the romance section, trying to find a new book to read. Hours pass by and I'm a little over halfway this new book I found. Beautiful sacrifice, written by my favorite author, Jamie McGuire. I love her books. They keep me alive.

Suddenly I hear a door open in the library and I quickly get up to see who it is. I see a tall figure walking towards me in the dark but I can't tell who it is so I quickly throw my book at them and try to run off but I have no where to go. I still can't see who the man is so I shut my eyes closed until I hear a voice say, "Jamie McGuire, I love her work."

I open my eyes and I realize it's... Matteo. He was standing right infront of me eyes looking down at me with a smirk on his face and the book in his hand. "I guess this is how you greet people? By throwing books at them? Interesting." He says.

"N-no! I just , I got scared I didn't know who you were and it's so dark in here....." I say while looking down.

"Ah. Well. Nice to meet you, again. Sofia right?." He says and I nod my head.

"I uh, i texted your number but I never got a response.." I tell him as he checks his phone. He apologizes and states how he gets so many business calls a day he has to put his phone on silence so he isn't bothered.

"It's alright." I tell him.

"I should probably go. If my father sees me with you or anyone else I might get yelled at so, or worse." I tell him.

"Why would that happen?" He asks.

"Because my step mother and father want you to talk to my sister. Not me. So yeah... but hey it's all good though, good luck with that." Before he can say another word I leave the library and run up to my room.

He was really staying with us. As I'm walking I bump into a tall figure, he was brunette with dark brown eyes and a very nice and fit body. I remember him from the dinner last night, he's Matteo's brother.

"I'm so sorry I didn't see you there. I'll be careful next time." He says, why is he apologizing? I'm the one who bumped into him.

"No no it's okay! I'm the one who bumped into you! I'll be careful." I Smile walk away and as I enter my room, I believe he was going to tell me something else but he brushed it off and walked away. Then I see my step sister and step mother in there.

"What are you doing in my room?" I ask.

"Why were you with Matteo? Did I not tell you to stay away from him?" Says Alessia as she walks towards me. Her mother suddenly locks the door and immediately Alessia grabs me by my hair and takes a big pair of scissors and chops some of it off I try to stop her and I grab the scissors and throw them across the room and her mother grabs me down.

Alessia then start beating on me and I try to get get up but her mother is holding my down while all of Alessia's weight is on me. I could feel myself starting to pass out as the punches continue and the blood drips down from my face. Before I pass out all I saw was them walking out of my room and locking the door behind them.
