"Mummy!!!" your 5 year old daughter Eden comes running into your bedroom. She has your y/h/c and she has Alex's eyes. She lifts her arms so you can hold in your arms.
Yes my love?" you reply to her with a grin on your face.
"Wheres Daddy?" she asks you with her sweet innocent voice. "he is downstairs." You go and put her down she grins up at you while saying "okkk" before you let her go anywhere you help her get changed into her little denim skirt and her bunny top which she choose as it was easter. As you two walk downstairs Alex is making you and him a nice cup of tea which he hands you. As your daughter runs into his arms she says "daddy do you know it's easter today?" , "yes I do know it is easter today princess, should we go see if the easter bunny has bought you anything?" She nods her face really fast you start chuckling because of how excited she is.
while she runs in front of you two Alex puts his arm around you and kisses your cheek you smile up at him while saying "I hope you didn't forget to get me an easter egg." He chuckles at you and rolls his eyes "how could i forget you one." you both laugh as you see that your daughter has already starting eating one of her easter eggs. She turns around to both of you with chocolate around her mouth saying excitedly"mommy, daddy the easter bunny bought me a load of chocolate eggs. Oh! and he bought me a bike!!" You look at her and say "thats amazing honey, I bet ya after lunch daddy will teach you how to ride it. She looks excited when you said that and said "really?!?!" Alex says "of course princess."
After lunch you sat down in a chair in the garden while watching your husband teach your daughter how to ride a bike. You think on how lucky you are that you have a wonderful daughter and a husband who is amazing with both you and your daughter. Then you hear Eden shouting at you "MOMMY LOOK I'M DOING IT!!!" you smile back and say "well done baby i'm so proud of you." Alex comes over to you a hugs you while your both watching your daughter get off her bike and play with her toys.
You look up at your husband and say "I love you."
"I love you too darling." He smiles back at
you
