Voltron High (Kidge fanfiction)

Chapter one

My name is Katie Holt. But I rather be called Pidge because Katie makes me sound weak. I am 16 years old, I'm 5'4, skin pale, light brown short hair, brown eyes, and my favorite hobbies science stuff that you all won't understand, dancing- not those ballet kinda junk, hip-hop dances, and gymnastics. My favorite color is green and only green. I have one sibling, my older brother Matt. He looks exactly like me, but he's a boy, and he is taller than me. Also I'm more sassy than him.

Enough talking about me and lets get to what's happening right now.

"PIDGE! YOU NEED TO GET OUT OF BED OR ELSE I WILL GET A BUCKET WITH ICE. COLD. WATER!" Matt yells from downstairs.

Yep. That's what's happening right now.

I groan and got out of bed. I put my glasses on and rubbed my eyes. I went to my bathroom and splashed water on my face- having my glasses off. When I saw myself in the mirror, it looked like I've been severely runned over by a bus.

My hair is everywhere. And I have baggy eyes because of me reading for a test today. I've skipped two to three grades because of my smartness and now I can go to classes with Matt. I'm sick of being alone and being bullied because of that I'm a nerd.

My only friends are Lance McClain, Hunk Garrett, Romelle and Allura Altea. Lotor is the bully of the school. Ezor and Axca are his minions. That's what I like to call them. Our principal is Allura's father, Principal Alfor. Coran is his assistant.

Kk, let's get to the present. I brushed my teeth and got into baggy beige pants, a green crop top with white sneakers. I put my short hair in a ponytail and I head downstairs grabbing my backpack. I grabbed a Granny Smith apple and start eating it.

"How do you like sour apples? Especially Granny Smith? They're supper sour," Matt said eating a red apple.

"Maybe because I'm sour and sassy," I said continued eating my apple as Matt shakes his head in amusement and continued eating his.

The bus came, me and Matt kissed our mom goodbye and left for school. We got off the bus, I'm walking behind Matt texting Allura. All of the sudden, I face planted into Matt's back when he stopped.

"What the?" I looked to see Matt is looking at his crush, Allura. I chuckled a little because Lance and Matt are fighting over her.

"Hey Pidge." Allura and Romelle walks up to me ignoring that Matt is staring at her. Allura, Romelle and I walked away and we both start laughing.

"When is your brother gonna give up? I really like him as a friend, but I don't really feel that way towards him. It's Lance I'm after," Allura whispered to me as we all start laughing.

"Imagine if Lance heard ya!" I said laughing.

"Oh yeah!" Romelle said.

"Oh boy. If I told him my feelings. Oof. He'll never let go of me," Allura says as we all start laughing again.

It is true. Allura really likes Lance, but if she told him her feelings, he would seriously never let go of her. Allura wants to see if Lance would tell her his feelings. If he loves her like how she does. She doesn't know if Lance is just flirting with her because of her beauty. I don't care about boys. Boys are a waist of time. Lance and Hunk are like brothers. Hunk is a sweetheart, Lance could be a pain at times, but he's like a brother either way.

The school bell rang for class. I go to Spanish, taking my test. Spanish is pretty hard to learn.

Allura, Romelle, Lance, Hunk and I are at the cafeteria eating our lunches. I'm surprised Lotor and his minions didn't come. Lotor always flirts with me and ask me to be his so called 'girlfriend', but no. Like I said. Boys are a waist of time, and they're up to no good. I just hope he doesn't come...

"Hey Katie," Lotor said. Oh my God! Why doesn't he go to hell already?!

"Don't call me Katie," I said and continued eating. Lotor smirks.

"Common. I know you have a thing for me," Lotor says. I laughed.

"Me? A thing for you? Dispicable," I said. Lotor storms out the cafeteria angry with his minions following behind. I looked behind me, and back to my friends who are ready to burst laughing. And we did.

"When will he learn I will never fall for him?" I asked shaking my head and continued eating.

School is over with. And we're going home. Lance lives next door from me, Allura and Romelle lives across from me, and Hunk lives down the road. Oh and just to be clear, Allura and Romelle are sisters. We all went to Lance's house and played the Nintendo Switch on his TV playing Mario Cart.

Lance is sitting on the couch crossed his legs, hunched his back, and stares at the TV trying to win. But Allura ended up winning.

"Uh?! No!" Lance exclaimed. Allura and I high-fived and start laughing.

I'm really lucky to have my friends. I dunno what I would've done without them.

Hunk comes in the room with a plate full of his chocolate chip cookies! OMG! I jumped and run to Hunk. Hunk moves the plate away from me as I frown and crossed my arms.

"What ya have to say?" Hunk asked.

"Please?" I said giving him the puppy dog eyes, curling my bottom lip, and putting my hands together rubbing against my cheek.

"My God Pidge. What am I gonna do with you?" Hunk asked giving me a cookie. I thanked him and sat down. I licked my lip and started eating the most moist, chewy, and warm cookie ever.

"My God Hunk! This is better than your last batch!" I said and continued eating the cookie. Hunk blushed.

"Thanks Pidge," Hunk said.

"Yeah Hunk! This is delicious!" Allura said. Hunk smiled.

"Nah, don't thank me. Thank my skills," Hunk said and puts the plate down and grabbed one for himself. Everyone including me ended up falling asleep. Allura and I are leaning on against each other sleeping. Half of Lance's body is on the couch and the other is on the floor. Hunk sleeps in the chair.

It's a good day so far. I hope tomorrow will be the same.
