[ ~ Chapter 1 ~ ]

Rengoku's POV

I ran down the dirt path as I just recieved news
of a demon lurking in a village nearby. As I was running I held my sword, ready to attack anything that made a sound, trying to be cautious as I know nothing about this demon except how many people it has eaten.. about 14 humans. All those innocent humans eaten for the sake of your own life.. I couldnt imagine trying to eat a human, no matter the reason.

(Time skip)

As I made it to the village I took in my surroundings, it was beautiful. There was a pond with the moon reflecting off of it, and lights hanging everywhere, and some food stands, my stomach started rumbling. Suddenly the ovewhelming stench of blood filled my nose. The demon must be nearby i thought. I look around making sure not to skip and little crevice where the demon could be hiding at, in that moment I saw something shift in the corner of my eye immediately reacting i lunged at it. As soon as I did I stopped halfway realizing that there was nothing there (must be a blood demon art) I continued looking around, not letting my guard down with my hand on my sword. I turned around as i felt a presence illuminating behind me. I lunged towards it severing its head I looked down as it disintegrated into ashes. "Who..are.. you.." it muttered as it finally turned into ashes and blew awwy in the wind. I looked up at the sky realizing the sun was rising and started heading back to the base while walking back I had a feeling that someone was staring at me I stopped and turned around and go tackled to the floor i opened my eyes and saw that it was Uzui
