"Maybe you could, stay with me for the night?" She asks me politely. I was flattered. "Of course!!" I felt numb, and it was as if my suroundings had faded, leaving only Eden in the empty void. I snapped back to reality five seconds later. "GET YOUR ACT TOGETHER DUMBASS." I thought to myself. Eden & I stepping on crunching leafs and talking about random things the whole way there.
By the time we got there, it had already been fully dark.
She led me to her bedroom.
I softly place my things on her bed.
"Welp, here it is" She says while looking at her floor.
She smiles at me, as if she wants something.
I confusedly smile back.
"Wanna play truth or dare, Marie?" Eden says with a cute but devious look.
"Bet!" I said.
I had a few things in mind to ask and dare, but I had one in mind that could change her whole point of view of me, so I have to be safe with my words, especially with the hard one.
FIVE MINUTES LATER...
It was slightly getting intence, and we were having fun.
"Okay, okay Eden, Truth or Dare?"
"Dare!"
Oh no. She wasn't supposed to say that. Well, I guess this might be fun.
"I'm gonna write this one on a sticky note because its embarrassing," I say while my heart and brain are racing.
"Okay well I wanna dare you to do something weird too," Eden whispers, looking down at her arm.
WAIT WHAT?! Holy shit, does she like me? DO I LIKE HER?!?! Oh my god, what going on?! Act calm, calm.
She crawls off the bed to go grab two pens, while our gay ass music blasts.
"Here!" Eden says politely as they hand me a blue pen.
She writes hers.
I nervously write "Kiss me lol :>" on the blue page.
"Alrigghhhttt..!" I say as my voice trembles. What if she doesn't like me though, or hates me after?!?! I can hear her voice saying "Oh uhm.. Can we not..?" or even "Oh my God, EW!?!? You thought I liked you..?".
Get over your self Marie, it can't be that bad!
We place the notes on each others foreheads.
"1, 2, 3, 4," we chant to 10. "5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10!" we both tear it off to read it.
The note reads:
"Kiss me?"
I light up in pure happiness, and shock.
"Soo?"
