Welcome one, welcome all to Clown Corral, where we wrangle in the fun! I'm the head rancher and your designated tour guide for the week, Sunny Day Jack!" The man smiled. He wore what looked like a blue shaggy wig under a curled brim cowboy hat, a slim fit red button up rolled up at the sleeves, with a yellow handkerchief neck scarf and gloves. His face had red shapes painted on his cheeks and chin, selling the look of "pretty boy clown".

Shaun reached out and shook his hand, "Hi, Jack, I'm Shaun and this is my girlfriend, Jamie." He pulled a slender young woman in box braids close to his side, who nuzzled close to him. She muttered a greeting. Jack tipped his hat to her.

"Now, I assume y'all came as a couple or is there another in your party?" He asked.

As if on cue a woman around their age steps off the bus, shielding her eyes from the light. Jack's eyes widened, "Well I'll be..."

He's able to get a closer look when she steps up beside the couple. Dark skin, long curly black hair, and full kissable lips painted in black, with a cute little mole in the corner. Her voluptuous, pear shaped body is wrapped in a black ruffle hem cami dress. "I couldn't find my purse..." She mutters, adjusting the strap of her purse.

Shaun smacks her back, "This is May-Rose, but we call her the Princess of Darkness." He chuckles. She lightly smacks his arm.

"How you doing?" May-Rose greets, holding out her hand, though when Jack takes hold of it he turns her palm over and kisses the back of her hand. Hazel eyes boring into hers all the while.

"Much obliged, Sunshine."

She raises a brow in surprise. Shaun and Jamie snicker silently.

"I want to congratulate you all on winning our summer sweepstakes. We hope you enjoy your week here because we plan to make your stay comfortable," Jack says, smiling at the three before casting a sultry wink at May-Rose, "Very comfortable."

"I'll have some farmhands get your bags from the bus then we can get this show on the road!" With that the clown turns away, though as he saunters off attention is drawn to the faux cow tail attached to the seat of his pants. May-Rose tilts her head, smirking. 'Cute.' she thinks.

"Country ass attracts country ass, huh, May?" Shaun whispers to his friend. She elbows him roughly in the arm.

"Shut up..."

Sunny Day Jack gleefully led the three into what was called The Big House, which according to him was an Antebellum plantation house remodeled in the sixties for more "tasteful" usage.

"They're obligated to say that." Shaun whispers.

"It's got two floors, ten rooms, four bathrooms, and a foyer in which the three of you can enjoy the view if you so please," Jack explains, "And on the first floor there's a kitchen where your breakfast will be prepared at seven o' clock on the dot by yours truly~."

"You cook?" May-Rose asks.

He turns to her with a confident grin, "Best blueberry pancakes this side of Dallas, Sunshine."

He then leads them outside to a vast ranch. Of course, there are the horses. But there are also a fair amount of cattle grazing the field of grass and roaming within the stables, as well as smaller animals like pigs and chickens. Each being handled by farmhands dressed in cowboy attire and covered in clown paint.

"This is where we bear the fruits of our labor," Jack said, spreading his arms wide, "Here we handle precious livestock with the same care you would a house pet."

In the distance, a farmhand smacked the rump of a horse, causing it to buck and kick him in the head as he fell over into the mud.

"...granted the job requires a lot more caution and firmness."

"And what's that field over there?" Jamie asked. Jack turned his attention to where she pointed. A wide circular dirt field bordered by a fence, and bleachers on the opposite of each side.

"Well, I'm glad you asked, ma'am. That there is where we hold our biweekly rodeo!"

Jamie gasped, "Wow! I didn't think people still held those!"

"It's true there aren't as many around due to the heavy suspicion of animal cruelty in the past - but rest assured you'll find none of that here."

Eventually, he ended the tour by leading them up to their rooms on the second floor. Each door had a golden letter and number etched into the wood, and when they reached their room Jack handed them a gold key.

"I reckon this is where we part ways. If there are no further questions I hope you all enjoy your stay," he said.

"Actually, if it's all fine with you, I'd like to request a separate room from the happy couple."

Jack looked over at the stunning May-Rose. Though she hadn't spoken for most of the tour, he knew that in the few hours she'd been here he wouldn't get enough of her husky voice, which was tinged with a southern drawl.

He found himself grinning at her request. "Follow me."

He'd led her downstairs and into a cabinet where keys alike the ones he handed Shaun were hung on a rack. "There we are," he said, a satisfied lilt in his voice as he handed her the keys.

"Thank you, Mr. Sunny Day Jack." May said.

He scoffed, "Misters' so formal. Call me Jack, all my friends do."

May quirked a brow, "And what makes you think we're friends...Mister Jack?"

"I'd like us to be... May-Rose."

A slight shudder reverberated in May's chest. Honestly, she hated her full name. She always thought it was a bit too flowery, but after moving to the city, the looks it gave her had her under the assumption people thought of her as some kind of bumpkin.

She wasn't even that country, she was from fucking Branson.

But something about the way this... clown said it made her feel like she was being caressed and adored rather than teased.

And as embarrassing as it was to admit, she wanted to hear him say it as much as he could, over and over. Preferably in a less tight space. God, why was this closet so warm now?

Finally he clasped the keys in her palm, and gave her a half lidded look that was shaded by the rim of his hat.

Giving her a wink he said, "Call me if you need ...anything."

To say the night was uneventful was both an under and overstatement. May slept well enough through the night, though her dreams were far more tantalizing than they've ever been in the last month. The tightness of her covers around her thighs had her visualizing rough gloved hands pinning them to her sweat soaked sheets.

Of course, wet dreams weren't uncommon, especially after a year of being split from her once faithful ex-boyfriend and best friend... but this was the first time she'd had a face to put on a body. The face of a certain clown.

She shot up from her bed panting. Clutching her comforter close to her chest, she took in her surroundings, attempting to ground herself. A southern style bedroom, interior walls painted a cream white and gold accents on patterns and furniture. The carpeting a coffee brown. And over her bed, a sheer canopy.

Right, the room Jack had given her.

While he was obviously a big ol' flirt, she couldn't deny the part of her that enjoyed the attention after months of self-neglect. She'd told herself hookups were a no-go; she never liked the idea of someone she didn't know being in her home, or vice versa, even for a night.

Though, since Shaun became her roommate she'd gotten more secure about going to places where many guys were part of the populace. And not only was he here now, with his girlfriend, but this was technically a public place.

Surely, within these parameters, a little fling wouldn't hurt.
