Chapter 2: The Yang's Fiancé

As I opened my eyes for the first time for the start of a new day I noticed that it was yet to be dawn, but I still decided to get up and sat at the edge of my bed thinking about how this whole 'arranged marriage' thing is going to go. My mind would wander off to when I was invited to a wedding and thought of the boy I snuck off with...

~FLASHBACK~

The noises around was growing loud as the music began to play at the wedding, and princesses start to find their princes, slow dancing to the music that was playing. I looked around to see if anyone would notice if I left the room. Seeing no one, I slowly made my way out of the big ballroom, down the oversized hallway, entering a large room. Hearing the door creak open.
"Hello?" I heard from the dark. The room is only illuminated by the moonlight shining in through the large window behind the couch.

"It's okay, it's only me." I spoke
"But who is 'me'?" I laughed from the shadows as I walked into sight. I'd swoon over his midnight blue tone compared to his plain black figure in the dark.
"I'm Jeongin. I'm from the Kingdom up North? I don't think we've met."

I couldn't tell what he was thinking of feeling because of how dark the room was.

I'd smile back at him as he got up and walked closer to me.

I reached my hands out, laying them on his waist. He put his hands on my shoulders, we slowly start swaying around the room, following the rhythm of the muffled music that we hear through the walls.

I was going insane for his puppy-like facial features paired with his messy yet elegant hair making him look oh-so beautiful in the light of the full moon tonight.

As we were dancing we swayed flawlessly across the bedroom dancing to the muffled music from the ballroom in the moonlight from the big window from behind the couch.

"You look mesmerized." I said and heard a scoff "How could I not be? You're stunning."

I'd slightly blush at his comment before he spoke as our bodies came closer and closer together, "Is..This okay?" he asked ask softly. All I could do is nod, no second thoughts about it, and we almost kiss before the door creaks open. And we pushed each other away in a hurry to not get caught. We then heard a voice speak up. "Seungmin? What are you doing in here?" the voice spoke

"I-uh-I'm just decompressing. It's really loud out there, Mom?" I'd look at Seungmin as he spoke. "Alright, that's fine." The door then closed after his mother spoke.

"I'm sorry, it's just that-my parents and-" I would give him a reassuring smile.
"I understand..But I should-I should go.." I spoke before anyone else would walk in on them.

"Please-" He started to speak but I just smiled at him.
"This won't be the last time we meet. I promise, Seungmin. I will go to you like the first snow.."

~END FLASHBACK~

I got so wrapped up in my own thoughts that I lost track of time itself and before I knew it Chan came to wake me up, however to his surprise I was already up.

"Prince Jeongin? You're already awake?" Chan spoke softly and calmly carful to not startle me. "Hm? Oh, yes I'm already awake." I said as I got up and went to grab my suit off of the windowsill seat I have in my room as Chan spoke.

"I will be going in that case to let you get ready, Prince Jeongin." I'd smile at him and grabbed my suit and started to walk towards the bathroom to go get ready and spoke up before going into the bathroom, "Okay then, I will see you later."

Thirty minutes later I came out of the bathroom ready and headed over to my crown stand and picked up the crown and put it on my head due to family procedures.

I would then head down to the main room of the castle and saw another family talking with my own and saw my brother talking to a girl his age who I suppose is my Fiancé. "You finally came!" My mother would say as she came to me and engulfed me in a hug.

"Hi, my name is Yuna. I'm your Fiancé!" The girl I suspected to be my Fiancé did turn out to be her, she was now four feet away from me in a baby pink off the shoulder sleeved dress that had a puff look on the sleeves and on the dress top and the skirt part was the same baby pink fabric she had on the top.

"Hello, I'm Jeongin." I'd say with a blank face as she on the other hand had a smile. She would hold her hand out for me to take into my own "let's go talk somewhere else, shall we?"

"Let's go then." I'd hold my arm out for a link instead of holding hands and she'd gladly take my arm instead and I'd lead us to the garden as she talks to me but then something she said caught my eye, "Your body is so fit." She said in a flirtatious tone and had her other hand on my arm

"Thank you?" I'd say feeling uncomfortable and then once we got seated I spoke up. "You're making me uncomfortable, with all of the touching. I don't really like touching-"

I'd lie a bit about not liking physical touch and I'd slightly scoot away from her just enough so she wouldn't notice it and she's then speak, "I'm sorry for making you uncomfortable it wasn't my intention."

I would look to the doors across the garden and notice them open and her name being called by her father because of how far they live away.

"I'll see you next time, goodbye. I will be moving in to the castle tomorrow." She would lift her dress and slightly jog over to her father to leave

I'd stay in the garden and place my face in my hands as my elbows rested on my thighs thinking of Seungmin and how I'm going to get away from this place.
