I Will go to You Like the First Snow || A Seungin Story ||

Chapter 9: The People

=======POV: Seungmin========

We trot into the next village on our horses. The sun has come out, and the snow is slowly melting, though the air is still cold.

"We need somewhere to stay, what do we do?" I ask. Minho and Jisung look around scanning houses as we do the same.

Our eyes fall upon a tall, long haired young man carrying delicate, lightly colored flowers. Pastel yellow and pink colored petals on long green stems. He comes up to a stone cottage and knocks on the door.

A few moments later, another long haired young man with freckles speckled across his cheeks and nose. A big smile crosses his face when he sees the taller boy, and he accepts the flowers.

The taller boy embraces him, holding him close for a while. We watch them smiling, which probably seems creepy as the shorter boy catches us staring at him. He jumps back and pulls the other into the stone cottage.
"Shit." I whisper.

I jump off the horse, and jog over to the house, and I knock on the door, and the boy shortly answers.
"Yes?" He says.
"I'm with some of my friends and we need a place to stay, and you two look nice. Is it alright if we stay with you for a night or two?" The short boy looks back making eye contact with the taller boy, who nods.

"Yes, come in." I smile, bowing respectfully as I motion Jeongin and the others to tie their horses up and come in.

"I'm Seungmin." I introduce myself. The taller, dark haired boy looks mildly familiar, and I say.

"Are you-Hyunjin? What are you doing here?" He laughs
"Oh shit no way Jinnie. This really him?" The innocent looking boy says.

Hyunjin nods.
"Seungmin this is Felix. Felix this is Seungmin." A knock at the door indicates that the others are done tying up their s̶t̶o̶l̶e̶n̶ horse(s).

Hyunjin lets them in, and they introduce themselves to each other. Jeongin comes and sits next to me.

"So, you two seem very close, what's your relationship like?" Jeongin asks the two, not so discreetly trying to figure out if they're gay or not. I pinch him, and he kicks me. I glare at him as Felix answers.

"Well, actually.." He pauses, then continues. "We've been very close friends for coming up on eight years now, but we got closer about 4 years ago." He says. I nod.

"Yeah, I've known Jeongin for about a year, but we recently got closer." I smile at him, hoping he knows what I mean. Minho smiles and says.

"I've known Jisung for four years, but we got closer about two years ago." Hyunjin laughs.
"Okay, so to be clear, we're all gay here, right?" Laughter spreads across the room in agreement, as the sun sets and darkness spreads across the sleepy village.

=========POV: Jeongin========

Once we all were done laughing we all clarified and acknowledged the fact that everyone there was gay.

=======Time skip pookies=====

The next village we come across is smaller than the previous, which is saying a lot since the village we met Minho and Jisung in was very tiny. But, I did grow up in a castle, so maybe that village was normal size, or maybe this one was bigger? Who knows.

Seungmin scoffs from behind me.

"This village is small." He says. Minho and Jisung look at him.
"Really? This village may be smaller than ours, but ours is larger than average, you could say." I nod, my eyes widening as I try to stay respectful.

It's hard to though, when you've grown up in a castle your whole life, and suddenly your out in the 'real world' you could say, and everything is so much different than you're used to.
